Do you agree with Gov. Crist's veto of Senate Bill 6?

    Yes, he listened to the "voice of the people" - the same group of people who employ teachers as babysitters and who respond in kind! I'm disappointed this bill was turned down. The only group this bill would have been unfair to was the special needs teachers. Perhaps if we had more dedicated and better teachers in general there would be little need for special needs teachers. Teachers today are lazy and lack dedication. It's a "pay check" to them and little more! Although they know the pay scale going in (relatively stable throughout the country) they go into the career and anyway and then complain about the money. Teachers and doctors both once held positions of respect in this country for their dedication and care. This sadly no longer exist in either profession.
