By the time we can travel from star system to star system like we travel from country to country it might not even be necessary to directly travel ourselves. Perhaps all that will be needed is to transmit our consciousness?

They may walk among us and not even see us. Maybe the whole universe is connected in some way that we don't presently understand. Maybe there're multiple universes that reside in the same space. We can know that we walk among trillions of cells and bacteria and particles, but do they know they walk among us?
Aliens can live among us and not directly interact with us or live here explicitly because of us. And what does live among us mean? Does an alien probe with machine intelligence in our solar system, presently hidden from our awareness, qualify?

Look at the way we treat each other; of course there is life elsewhere. We cannot possibly be the most intelligent or advanced life form in existence.

Lori: You mut be a third grader...to think that earth is the only planet with life is rudimentary. We simply can not travel fast enough to find a planet to support our life function. Once we can harness the power of antimatter and matter adhesion to power our space crafts, we will be able to travel at the speed of sound and outside of our immediate solar system. There is evidence of other planets in our solar system having water currently or at sometime in the past....but do aliens live among us? I would certainly not discard the possibilty.

Humans would love to think that an alien civilization would be interested in us, but on the scale of the universe, we are not that important.

Although people act like aliens often, There is not life on any other planet, therefore there can not be aliens.
