Does It Make Sense to Have Different Plans for Health Insurance?

If I remember correctly, BO stated we should have the same HC plan as he and the government have.

Would you buy food from a farmer that wouldn't serve it to his own family?

On a side note, the options should read Yes/No/Maybe. Don't tack on specific reasons to these options, it strains the credibility of the poll. If people have good reasons for their answers they'll say so in comments.

Why do the answers have suggested answers. I intended to answer Yes - because just like insurance plan or any product from other companies - people should choose what's most appropriate for them. But the 'Yes' answers have suggested reasons besides them for choosing that answer and that is not why I choose that answer. Its totally unfair when polls have answers with such suggested meaning besides them. How can such a poll be 'fair and balanced'? Also don't those suggested reasons besides the answers imply 'spin'?

Outlaw employer-sponsored health plans. Force every individual adult to buy their own private plan, no groups. Let the ins. companies determine what to cover and people will switch is they don't like it.

If employers want to offer money toward an HSA, that's their choice, just like a company car or vacation days.

This is how every other insurance type is handled, and health ins. should be no different.

The only exception I would support is for the military, who have their own doctors and hospitals for a very specific reason, because it's in the interest of national security not to make wounded soldiers wait 4 hours in the emergency waiting room.
