I love this show. My whole family does keep it as long as possible. this show gives hope and its awesome.

Keep it! One Tree Hill is truely the best show on the CW and on TV.. The characters all have more stories to tell, like Brooke finally getting a family, Nathan and Haley getting past all their problems and settling down with another child, as much as I hate the new characters that have replaced, the legendary.. Lucas and Peyton.... I think they still deserve a chance to tell some more stories. I also still have hope of Lucas and Peyton coming back to the show.. because we need to see little Sawyer grow up into a beautiful little girl.. (:

they just don't make shows like this anymore.. and for all those people who say that its had enough and that they are just going through the same storylines over and over again, you are wrong and definitely don't understand the show at all. Its time to move on. This season has not been the same OTH. I liked season 5 and 6, but even those didnt feel like the same show. The characters changed. I think Nathan is the only one that seems like the same person, just grown up. If they need to tie up loose ends first, then I think they should make a hard attempt at getting certain cast members to come back, even if just for a couple episodes, so that the show could have a proper send off. We still dont even know where people have gone. Say goodbye to the original show, not characters that have just come in as fillers. This is just all my opinion though.

hi!!! sorry no se ingles :( , pero soy una fiel fan de OTH desde la primera temporada... en Mexico no han pasado todas las temporadas por eso yo ya me compre los dvd´s de la 1° a la 6° temporada, estoy viendo por internet la 7° temporada... y esta increible, a pesar de que ya salieron unos personajes importantes de la historia sigue increible, cada capitulo te sorprende, creo que se merece una 8° temporada y más.... y realmente esta serie tiene muchisimos fans en toda Latinoamerica...... queremos una 8° temporada...... saludos desde México.!!! .

Please keep One Tree Hill. I know the story lines and characters have changed but the show is still the has the highest ratings. I don't understand why the show that has the ratings isn't getting pick up, but the shows that do ge t picked up have less ratings and are promoted more. All good things must come to an end but this show deserves the proper ending. I think they need to bring back some of the original cast for a few episodes. Save this show. If I had endless amounts of money I would bank roll this show just to continue it for at least a season 8. Just to give the characters the perfect ending.

That's nice and all but still, OTH has the larger & more devoted fan base! OTH has always been an after thought to the CW. They promote shows like GG, and 90210 and Melrose Place, but not OTH and the fact that OTH gets more viewers is sufficient proof that this show should live on, at least for another season for a proper goodbye.
No offense, but if LUX can't hold up to a show thats been on for 7 years, how will it keep going? It'll get axed eventually. Just sayin! Not to be harsh!

this is the second time i write here because of the comments people how want to kill the show are writing and let me say it if you are a fan you wont say kill it that would mean one thing that you are not a faithful fan FYI the show didn't end at his 4 season and i am saying it again if you don't want to watch don;t turn the channel but some people still want to watch it so please let the fans do what they want and if your not a fan anymore we respect that so pleas respect that their still fans for the show PS most people is watching LUX because it comes after O.T.H so losing One Tree Hill viewers means losing LUX also

i know it's harsh cuz it's hard for me to say it, but it's been around for 7 years, most people have had enough of it (i know, there will be people saying, no we havent had enough, bla bla bla..it's cuz you're not most people, you're OTH fans just like i used to be).
OTH used to meant the world to me, it used to be a part of my life, damn i grew up with this series, it has taught me a lota things in life, but lately it's just disappointing cuz alota things have changed and somehow,it doesnt feel like OTH anymore..
(all i've been doing is just watch OTH from season 1-4, over and over again, just to remind me of how good OTH was..)
so i think it'd be better to just end this series, and maybe make a spin off of it, since lots of the main story has been changed, and some of the main characters have gone, so a spin off would better..
so i hope they just end it this season, and give a chance to a new shows like LIFE UNEXPECTED, 90210, VAMPIRE DIARIES, MELROSE PLACE, etc all new shows from CW , cuz they haven't got a chance to show their story yet..

My friend was an extra and she said the finale was filmed with two endings. A series finale and a season finale. She heard it from a production assistant. I've also heard this from other people as well, so take it as you will.

There was only one ending filmed and it's a crazy, effing cliffhanger. So, if the show is not renewed, the show will end like that. And FYI, this show NEVER filmed alternate endings. Why do you think Mark left Haley on the bridge in the Season 3 finale? Because he was pressuring Dawn Ostroff to pick up the show for Season 4 and it worked! That's the same move he's pulling this time. Honestly, this show just needs 10 or 12 episodes to wrap it up and bow out. It would be a shame after everything for this show to end on a cliffhanger. I say pick up OTH and LUX for half a season each and have them split the timeslot.

my very reliable source has said that the alternative endings were NOT filmed too, and that the show is gonna end with a cliffhanger coming out of nowhere.
I really hope we get another season.

Alternative endings were DEFINITELY filmed - like way back in the end of season 4... when we were unsure again on whether OTH will get a season 5.. Please guys do your homework! Bring back OTH for a season 8. Naley needs another baby!

so if it ends this season there is a big chance that it leaves us on a cliffhanger!
I want another season so that the story lines are warped up and that everyone single character can get what they deserve and fans of 7 years get to be happy!

Rebecca it won't end on a cliffhanger if it's canceled. Alternate endings were filmed. One a series finale and the other a season finale.

It's shady how Gossip Girl gets renewed when both OTH and LUX get higher ratings. The Cw sucks imo.
But still, LUX & GG get highly promoted by the cw while one tree hill doesn't! & the fact that OTH still gets more viewers than highly promoted shows, shows how loyal we are as fans and how much this show means to us!!
We can't give up! After this season, season 7 ends with a cliffhanger>>((SPOILER)). If it ends then we'll never know what happens after that!!
We deserve an 8th season. Just to wrap up some story lines, and finish the series. I would love to see Brooke have a baby & get married...
But that can't happen without an 8th season! So yeah.

It's simple people, if you don't like the show then DONT WATCH IT. I don't watch that CRAP of a show Melrose Place or 90210 but you don't see me blabbing my mouth to cancel that waste of space. Kill it. I'd hate to see them explore the same issues a third time (cancer, death, psychos, love triangles, etc.) Maybe keep it for 13 episodes for the closure and respectable wrap up it deserves, but then kill it.
