I started visiting AfterElton when my 13 year old son told me he was gay. I visitied Stonewall and Towleroad and then AfterElton. I wanted to know what was going on with gay rights and legislation and I wanted to provide him with positive role models that would help him with the predjudice I knew he would inevitably face. He's a pretty cool kid and knows how to argue his corner. Since he came out at school, two teachers have put Stonewall posters up in their classrooms. Thanks to AfterElton for providing much entertainment and thoughtful dialogue.
