Should school districts post their check book registers?

    Yes! Show us where are tax dollars are going. Show me the money. It is that simple.

    Definitely!!! They are spending our tax money. If they have nothing to HIDE, why shouldn't they? This would eliminate many questions the public has as far as the money issues plaquing school districts today. If the public could see exactly where every penny is spent, the public might be more likely to vote for increase if they can see that it is REALLY needed. In my opinion in the district I live in, there is too much "behind closed door" spending and that is why I question the need for any more money. If I could see that the money that the district is already getting is being spent appropriately and not mishandled, then I might be willing to vote in favor of additional funds. I have too many unanswered questions and concerns that our district refuses to provide answers for and too much side stepping when questions are asked by the public to even think about voting in favor of ANY increases.
