the director should read the books...also I do not see how they can possibly make that book into one movie without cutting too much from the story...we all know the first two movies are missing some important parts..well lets not discuss the first movie...yikes! it didn't do twilight justice...I am just happy we are 93 days away from ECLIPSE!!!

Baz Luhrman: He's done two of the most beautiful tear jerker love films (Moulin Rouge and Rome + Juliet) along with beautiful art direction and CGI. He can also handle a more normal epic film such as Australia. I think he could rock "Breaking Dawn."

I know a woman wrote the series, and the screenplays. I get that. Stephanie Meyers is amazing. The screenplay writer is very talented too, although sometimes things are left out that I believe is needed. I'm saying that as far as history goes with love stories/action in the same, men do better. They have a tendency to balance them better. I know women are talented, and yes I believe that a woman can do anything a man can do, but I just think that a man would make a better director for Breaking Dawn. What about James Cameron??? He's good. I mean look at Avatar. All and all, the woman they have listed just wouldn't do it justice, so I chose a man. That's all I'm saying.

I think Quentin Tarantino Would Rock at this.
He would bring a hole lot of story and come at it in a fashtion that no one can touch.
He can think up things that know one would ever think of doing. Let alone he is awesome with
( sp efects ) So some one ask him. I bet he would love to do it.

Interesting you say that Christie, since a woman invented and wrote the series in the first place and it is also a woman who wrote all the screenplays. To base all women on one past female director is unfair and it is because of the sexist society that we live in that there are not more women directors and that it took over 80 years (until 2010) for a female director to be awarded an academy award. We need to be more careful about the way we gerenalize women, because we're only hurting ourselves in the process.

The reason I voted for Bill Condon, is because look at his movies. His history is way better than the other two contestants. From the three that were given, he is the best choice. I really don't think a woman should direct the Twilight series, they just don't seem to do it justice. If I would suggest someone, what about Len Wiseman. I think the Underworld movies are very well done. Just a suggestion.
