Do Browns' fans owe Derek Anderson an apology for the booing incident in 2008?

Borish behavior by fans, especially those that have no idea how dangerous a sport football is, will leave us as loosers. Do you realy think that top teir players don't heart about this stuff. Don't expect them to sign on in Cleveland the home of the worst.

People were booing because he got hurt plain and simple. Brady Quinn was already done for the season on IR when Anderson got hurt.

I think most people are missing what actually happened that day. Nobody was excited and cheering about Anderson being injured. The cheering was because fans were excited that Ohio native, and fellow Browns fan, Brady Quinn was about to come in. I have been a Browns fan since the day I was born, and I have never heard another fan cheer an injury. I was never an Anderson fan from day one, I am personally glad he is gone, and I also can't wait for his team to come to Cleveland so he can watch from the bench (as a backup) while his team loses. Grow up DA, get your panties out of a bunch, and quit cutting down former fans, (many of which cheered for you while you sucked) just because you got cut.

No one should be booed after an injury. However, Browns fans have been the most loyal of any NFL team. Their frustration has also gotten the better of them. I think calling them ruthless is a bit harsh.

If you want to believe Browns fans are ruthless than you'll also believe that they hated Braylon Edwards from the start simply because he came from Michigan. But if your smart and you really look at the fan base you'll see that all that is crap.

They're pissed because they can't seem to find a go to quarterback. They should have booed the owners and the managers.

Sorry you took the fall D.A.

Actually, the fans weren't booing, they were cheering when Anderson was hurt. That was the issue. The fans have that right especially since it seemed that this was the only way to get Anderson out of the lineup and give Brady a chance. Anderson was still making his multi millions. (average of 8 million per year over 3 years.)

I was ashamed to associate myself with Cleveland Browns fans that day. I don't care how bad of a job you think a guy is doing, you don't want to see people get hurt. Their booing was disrespectful and heartless. I wish Derek all the best and hope he can find his true potential with a city that appreciates him.

I agree. No one should be booed for getting injured.
