There is no legitimate excuse for bringing a child to work anyway. It is disruptive to a normal office and workplace, and is totally insane to allow it in a situation where lives are endangered.
The whole point of take your kid to work day is to help kids see that there is a point to doing well in school! Spark their imagination. The story doesnt say it, but I have no doubt that the father of this child was closely watching. If we reprimend or fire the father, What kind of a messga do we send to our kids?
