    Freedom of Speech (and Creativity)
As long as each developer accepts the full liability of the applications it publishes and promises to Apple by contract that the developer will not engage in illegal activities, then Apple should allow its app store space to by used as it may. This promotes a wealth of creativity and supports free speech.

    Protection of Our Children
We have laws to protect our citizens and children. Those laws are governed and policed by regulatory agencies such as the FCC, ATF, FBI, etc. Apple should not be a police officer or enforcer of the law. It's not their job and it's very inefficient for Apple to assume that role. If we have any concerns about whether or not we are properly protecting our citizens and children from porn, gambling, violence, or any other concern, then it's very likely that the concern applies to a bunch of companies and not just Apple. We should take up those concerns with (A) the parent who should be responsible for their child or (B) our local legislative representatives.

So what is the difference between vice gambling and vice porn? I've personally seen more lives lost to gambling than porn.
