How seemly or unseemly was Anne Elliot's conduct in running through Bath after Captain Wentworth?
Most seemly. All is fair in love and war. This was her second and perchance last chance to snag the Captain!
Somewhat seemly. There was no hackney cab at the ready. If she'd walked, she might have lost her yummy Captain.
Unseemly. But at least she got some aerobic exercise. I admire her great shape, 'cause she barely huffed and puffed through Bath's hilly streets.
Most unseemly. Her skirts blew around her, showing much more than her ankles and *gulp* she was sweating. Never let him see you sweat..
Exceedingly unseemly. When she approached the Captain, he should have given her the cold shoulder. No well-bred Regency miss would have behaved in such an unladylike manner.
