Who deserves the blame for Detroit's downward spiral?

It was a difficult choice, but in the end, I blame the domestic's management. The big 3 don't make a single car that appeals to me (that I can afford). As a consumer I am forced to look elsewhere. You can look at unions for seemingly constantly begging for more money, but the blame still rests on Management.

It's not inept GM, Ford & Chrysler management. It's plain greed!
Greedy, greedy people bragging they don't make cars they "make" money.
When a car company has a CEO who says that you know they don't care about the customer or the quality of their cars.

I personally believed from the start that if the US government bailed out American automakers the Unions would still be screwed and car production would still go to Mexico, China and South America. Which is exactly what happened.

You don't need Nostradamus to tell you what greedy bastards will do next!

I marked management, but it ties in with the unions and their insatiable appetite for benefits and pay-for-no-work. However, it is management's fault for not stopping the trend years ago.
