After a month of driving with Oregon's handsfree cell phone law, are people still taking it seriously? What do you see?
Yes. It's obvious that more drivers are still using handsfree devices or hanging up.
No. Drivers are falling back into their old habits with their cell phones, openly ignoring the law.
Like most handsfree laws, Oregon's is a joke. It's still dangerous to talk on your phone and drive. The only way to make the roads safer is to force people to hang up altogether.
