Right now, working longer and harder. I suppose it is by choice as we all the option of choosing and saying YES or NO. However, you sometimes get so caught up you are on the treadmill and can't quite reach the OFF button.

I didn't work for the first 10 years of my marriage - we had 2 children which was pretty much full time and my husband was always away with work. When he changed jobs and the kids went to school I came back to work part time. Problem is I still do all the things I did before going back to work around the home only now I have 4 days as opposed to 7 to do it all. When the kids are sick it just presumed by my husbands employer that is my resoponsability as the woman to stay at home and look after them. There is no such thing as equality in the workplace.
Hi Lisa,
Great idea for a poll. Even though I said "work commitments" I actually love what I do so thats the problem!

The results so far tell me women are working harder/longer for less income. (25% work commitments, 25% lack of disposable income)
Never easy trying to get people to participate we are so slammed with everything we are trying to get done.
