Damon is a nice player who's best days are behind him. He is a major liability on defense, and thinks he's worth a lot more than he is. If the Yankees don't want him, that has to tell you something.

Give the kid we got for Granderson a chance to prove himself. And save some money for next year, when there are much better players available.
