I'm a developer too and I wanted the child themes + a framework. I wonder how many people actually appreciate the options other than "a great design." I can't imagine many people who really understand what child themes + a framework provides (i.e. a marketplace for great child themes, for example) that wouldn't want that option.
Nice poll. I actually voted for "I just want a "Theme Framework" with loads and loads of customization options without having to touch code." because I am a developer and that is just what I am building. A real manageable tool for online marketers.
It would be interesting for sure to see how many of these votes are from developers. I do know that a very large percentage of my customers are developers.
The results from this poll would probably be more meaningful if you knew the occupation of the voter. As a developer, the "kick ass design" option was clearly the winner and I'm willing to bet a majority of the other 63 votes for that option (at the time of this comment) are probably from developers as well. I'm curious how many non-developers have voted on this poll.
Just some thoughts. Interesting results regardless. :)
