A study says laws against driving while using a cell phone or texting don't reduce accidents. What do you say?

Texting while driving is just the hot topic right now; when we as a public decide to treat driving as the most hazardous activity we engage in most often and change our attitude accordingly will we see improvement in traffic statistics. There are still lots of people out there who haven't caught on to the 'wiper law' that Ohio enacted, or who don't turn on their headlights when they should, or who forget we're a "team" on the roads; then we'll see the numbers go down. It's not just the teens or the oldsters who cause the problems, there's lots more people in between those ages who haven't quite figured out "how to drive."
