    I own an iPhone

I received my ipad through http://getmyusmail.com and had a problem, they helped me return it for a new one and assisted me in the exchange, their personal shopper was helpful if you live outside the US, so if anyone need to buy new ipad or purchase in US, I highly recommend them, they will help you with the purchase and shipping cost was not bad at all.

Wow!!! What a dissappointment. He is a fantastic gulfer but must lack a lot of integrity and smarts. Did he really think he was the celebrity that Wouldn't get caught!!!! He should do everything possible to take care of his children now. The embarassment and pain he has caused them is immeasurable.

About 50:50 on this poll then. Delaying the international shipment of iPad's seems to show that it was a big seller, I'm sure Apple would be happy with 50% of households planning to buy one ;-)

I love Ipad but Apple will not ship to me, I live outside USA so For international customers, I suggest using a package forwarding service or personal shopper like http://getmyusmail.com or http://myuspostoffice.com both can facilitate the purchase of the new ipad or iphone, rates from what I experienced are reasonable.

    YOU CANT MULTITASK! NO FLASH!

  • cemone - 14 years ago

  • Prakash Heda - 14 years ago

I wont buy Ipad...unless it gives me atleast...

    WebCam is must

    Video calling with Skype atleast

Multitasking (C'mon its 10 inch device why no multitasking?, i am used to work with multiple tasks are going on in background)

Flash (just because apple is adament not to use flash, makes no sense for me to agrre them, be reasonable and respect what's already in market, you have to support that to succeed)

And support for all video formats, no restrictions....

btw I already has Mac air and iphone...so this is useless and other that a sexy device with touch interface its nothing to pray for...

Right now Apple is not respecting it's early adapters by stripping down the basic functions. In half a year a second generation will come (with a few basic here and there) and they ought to buy their second allready??

I think companies shouldn't be rewarded for pushing non-finish product into the market just for the sake of tradition. Apple is becoming more and more obvious for making it's fan totaly dependable on more energy consuming devices. This is not the direction we have to go, not anymore.

The non-3G version would be the perfect living room/kitchen/travel device for our family.

We have a desktop for desktop tasks, my Droid for quick interactions when out and about, but don't want to pay full laptop freight evening browsing. Frankly, not even sure I'd use it for book reading — I still prefer paper books.

It's the perfect use case for us.

  • Robin - 14 years ago

I am interested, but I think I may wait for a later iteration to see where this device goes.

  • Christopher Scott Knell - 14 years ago

No Camera. No Flash. No GPS. No Multitasking.
    I'll wait.
I want to use it for iChat.
    Screensharing mostly.

Wont buy it until they release an update....they have a habit of making people look like an ass by releasing a better update 6 months into the launch.

Waiting for rev2 before I buy more than the entry level model

  • Miss Dizzy - 14 years ago

I want one, but seeing I have a macbook, a cell phone, and a 32g Ipod touch....I have more than enough portable internet and app devices

  • Hannah - 14 years ago

I think i'm going to get one :)

I get my income tax soon and the only i-product i have ever owned was an ipod nano I thought was nice. When I got my bonus I bought my brother the Itouch which I think is very badass. Although I have a few questions like where can I buy one of the first Ipads coming out? And are there any new business apps to help with presentations I could use in college?? and MALFUNCTIONS, thats a major one, I need to know What are all the Cons???

  • Michael - 14 years ago

I said I wanted to buy the 64 GB version because that's the only thing close to large enough for hi-res photos, videos and a significant amount of music.

Realistically though, I'm going to make someone else buy me one, because I can't afford it. Maybe if all the books were free, then I'd do that instead of buying textbooks. :)

I own an iPhone, what do I need an iPad for?

  • ebth2306 - 14 years ago

I will buy it since iWorks is available for it. I can work AND play all on one device. I think it took forever in the presentation to get to the really amazing things about this device (ie more than a big iTouch) like iWorks, NYT, iBook etc.

  • GoingLikeSixty - 14 years ago

I will buy it because I am a boomer and love conspicuous consumption.
