I owned a Mazda 626 5-door (aka 4-door) hatchback for 21 years. I cried when it died. It was the most perfect car for me. I bought a new Mazda6 in Feb. 2012. I wanted a hatchback or wagon so badly and could not find one. The new car is a great car, but I tried buying some small lawn chairs recently and couldn't get even one in the back seat or trunk. God! I wish I'd known there were older wagons to be had.

Mazda makes a great looking wagon, and the 6 is a great car. What's not to like? My wagon options are limited to the too large Subaru Outback, the expensive Jetta Sportwagon, and other out-of-my-price-range options from Audi and Volvo. I would buy the 6 wagon in a heartbeat. As it is, to replace my Saturn L wagon, I will end up with as large a hatchback as I can find. Just not the same.

Since there was no option for "HELL yes!" I guess "yes" will have to suffice. I too fell in love with the previous Mazda6 wagon, having seen a few on the road around town. I was also enamored with the Honda Accord wagon (of the famous "Cog" television commercial) which, as far as I know, never made it to these shores.
