I think the birthday/swagbucks anniversary idea is great, and i think someone's idea of having the amount grow each year (perhaps based on your age, or years w/ SB) is a good addition.
I agree that prizes get sticky as there are lots of tastes among the swag community. Perhaps an option to take the prize or 1/2 it's value in Swagbucks in the event it's not something you like.
I also like someone's idea of bonus SBs if you hit a certain search quota... maybe even in levels based on overall search #s.

Yes please give out bucks on birthdays. In fact, mine is January 14 and I would really enjoy extra bucks on my day plus and MP4 player and anything else you would like to give me!!! lol

I'd love to be able to gift Swagbucks to my friends, a great way to refer people to the site. Perhaps if we were given "ReferBucks" a set number that are only good for new accounts and perhaps a code that only works once. And gifting bucks to friends who already are in our referrals as a way to say "Thank You". Perhaps as an equal cost item in the SwagStore where you can select a friend/account name/number to send it to.

Well the birthday bucks, search prizes and sb auctions are all a fairly interesting idea... Why not implement all three? Also a News, Weather, Sports, etc. feature on the homepage seems fairly useless.

The birthday thing is sorta cool, but its only a one time thing. I think that in addition to winning SB's for searching, there is a smaller chance to win a prize in the swag store. Or maybe, a choice of 2 or 3 prizes so that someone doesn't get junk they don't want. Or, something that anyone would like, for example, gift cards, electronics, etc. Orrr...well thats enought from me lol.

The thing about the searching and getting a random item, is that what if you don't like the item? It would be pointless...Unless like Rachele said, we had our choice of certain ones. I guess I'll go with birthday bucks..like 5 or 10....rats..just had my bday in December! I have to wait a whole year now if it happens! :( :D

And the gift thing wouldnt be so bad if they weren't lame gifts. And maybe get a choice between a couple different ones.

why not have an "annivarsary gift" type thing? instead of a birthday gift, you could receive swagbucks in your account for every year you take part in swagbucks, and maybe it increases every year? just an idea, and i like it better than birthday bucks. an iphone app would be cool as well!! i could have my swagbucks iphone case, walpaper, and favorite app!! lol
