Do you think Sen. Nelson's support was bought?

Nelson is the senator from Nebraska not the senator from the entire United States. What ever you call this, a bribe, pork barrel spending he did it for his state. As a cons/republican from an another state, I wish my congressional reps would do the same, he's just doing the job his constituents elected him to do.

It is actions such as this that has me so totally disgusted with politicians. Are there any left who use integrity, honesty and truthfullness as the guiding principals in doing the job for which they were elected.

The majority do not want this bill, at least in its present state. Yet, our illustrious politicians are not only forcing Americans to buy into this catastrophe, they're offering bribes to make it happen. Even the liberals should be concerned with this behavior, and would be, if the tables were turned. I suspect the Democrats will do as much damage as they possible can before they leave office in 2010/12. If I had a crystal ball, I think it would show that many politicians are about to loose their jobs. But then again, we're relying on the same sheep that put our knucklehead president in office!

What Sen Nelson of Nebraska and Sen Milbank of Louisiana as well as any unknown sweet heart deals that the Democratic leadership and Pres. Obama have done in order to secure the support for the proposed healthcare reform, amount to discrimination against the states that will have to pay for those deals and may even be criminal abuse of the privilege of their respective offices. If this bill passes, the American people should recall the entire Congress and demand an election to replace anyone who is not willing to listen to the will of the people and honestly work in the interests of the country.
