Hey Brother(conservative/republicans) stop drinking the cool aid, unless we have a majority 40-60 I don't think it will happen so lets start working for a majority in 2010.

I believe that the drive to make Obama look good has taken over the drive for a good Health Care plan. The Democrats in both houses of congress will pass a Health Care Plan over all objections of the American people. Their focus is to give Obama what he wants and will "walk the plank" for him.
Their belief is that since they control the media, and that most of the major negative aspects of the Health Care Plan will not be felt by the American public until 2014, they can spin this "win" into votes in November.
The Dems and the media will have 10 months to continue brainwashing the American people that they are making positive changes and that they are looking out for their best interests. If the job market does pick up at all, they will blow this up into a another major victory.
Americans will be broad sided in the next four years by the effects of the legislation and policy decisions that have occurred, and will continue to occur while the democrats hold the majority.
Please wake up America. Please contact your members of congress and tell them how you feel. Do more than that, vow to actually get involved this year in the election process and remove these self important idealogs from office once and for all.

I think the Democrat health care bill is losing steam quickly. The power to pay off votes is not working. It this bill passed it wouldn't be anything the Democrats wanted. The only thing I can figure is this will get passed and behind closed doors the Demorates will change the bill to what they wanted in the first place. Chicago Politics at its best

Once the Dems get done with all the payoffs..they'll pass a bill against the American people's wishes..They'll smoke screen the whole thing and once in place they'll just pass legislation as they darn well please along the way to get back to their original plan...they're a bunch of low life crooks is all I have to say..this countries going down

Interestingly, Senator Kerry today when discussing the Defense Bill and McCain's objection because of unnecessary pork, said well, you know, you guys did this for 8 years. Really? 8? Dems have had Congress since 2006! And if a 1 Trillion in Debt is really bad, then how would you justify a tripling of that in less than 1 year?
Arrogance, reckless spending, abuse of power, and lies. Tell me Mr. Kerry how do you justify $ 2 Billion for Brazil's off-shore drilling while shutting down ours? How does that create American Jobs or help American's get lower medical insurance premiums?
Real Reform does not happen behind closed doors with secret deals and trial lawyers, one party, big pharma, and special interest groups and lobbyists!
