Federer v Nadal was a great match but was it any better than Federer v Roddick this year. The Ashes epic in 2005 lasted a whole summer and produced lots of thrilling moments. To put it into perspective, how much better was it than the fairly soulless triumph of 2009. For me, for prolonged drama, heroes and villains and tight results, the 2005 Ashes had everything you could expect from a sporting contest, including the right result!
