With two parties, everyone seems to be on the right side, while those who oppose are on the wrong side of everything! No wonder there is never a compromise - and God forbid an actual checks & balance would actually force our elected leaders to make wise decisions on OUR behalf. It's sad that Americans are being told to tighten our pocketbooks by our own government, who is simultaneously spending out of control! We won't be one of the most powerful nations for long :(
I would vote for anyone who was not a total idealogue from the extreme left or right. Obama and his crew are going to be the example of all things wrong with the far left for a long time to come. Hello Jimmy Carter!! Maybe our next President will listen more than talk; and with such large ears, you might think this guy would hear!
