I like Redditt and StumpleUpon. I have nothing against Digg. I think it's a matter of what you get used to and how well you know how to navigate your way around. For example, I have not given up Yahoo for gmail because I'm used to Yahoo and have all my filters set up the way I like. I find Gmail annoying and it tries too hard to be clever and different, but I'm sure if I had used Gmail first and got used to it first, I would have less of an opinion about Yahoo mail. Voila!
I think it has to be Digg as this was one of the oldest social bookmark site that has stormed Internet when it was released, all the best for all the 3.
Reddit all the way. Go to Digg today and you will be seeing all the stories that made the frontpage of reddit yesterday. It's ridiculous how Digg top users like MrBabyMan just rip off reddit top stories (punch line included) to get into Digg's flawed front page.

Reddit is a piece of sh*t. StumbleUpon owns. Digg's win was legitimate because of how many more users it has than SU, but Reddit is just a piece of crap. They probably had all their employees voting over and over again.
I used to go to Digg and disliked the narrow scope of the stories, particularly in comparison to the endless scope of something like StumbleUpon, a scope that can be opened or narrowed instantly. The huge lean to the left, politically speaking, was also distracting (and at that point in time I was a huge liberal. I can't imagine how it would aggravate me now that my views have changed). Stumbleupon definitely wins that matchup beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Never got into reddit. The Digg format really turned me off. It might be better. I'll never know.

For what it's worth, several commentors on Reddit seem to be against voting for Reddit in this poll, saying stuff about how they don't want to attract Digg users *shrug*

Yeh, Reddit is so much more of an intellectual gathering. I viewed digg on a friends shitty windows computer (mac ftw) and the comments are so closed minded, stereotypical and misogynistic. Reddit's user base seem like far more intelligent people probably in their mid 20's, digg is full of children. When viewing comments on Reddit the net-iquette is also of high standard and the discussions are meaningful and progressive.

Reddit is still real, free wheeling, able to withstand the occasional free thinking vagabond like myself. Digg, on the other hand, has gone filtering ,corporate slick and has thus lost much of its humanity. Digg is now more like a corporate magazine for those who mirror thought rather than originate. Step up to more freedom while it lasts. Go to Reddit. When they become too corporate someone else will step up.

I used to be a Digg reader, but when I discovered Reddit, I soon found out everything that appears today on Reddit will appear tomorrow on Digg. With the instantaniety of the Internet, sooner beats later. Also, the commentary on Reddit is way superior - deep, intelligent discussions mixed in with biting humor and wit. Digg seems to be a plethora of one liners. I do sometimes check out Digg just for a change of pace, but I keep going back to Reddit. As for Stumbleupon, I haven't stumbleuponed it yet. You should have mentioned Fark.com quirky but the same type of approach.

I was going to type out a long winded reply as to how Reddit is obviously superior to Digg in every way and Digg is just a whorier version, but I decided to look and see if anyone else agreed with me.

Reddit deserves to win, as it basically does all the hard work in that it collects the coolest stories, and then Digg's power users simply copy the reddit titles and pluck up the stories they know will be a hit.
Digg is like a hot woman. Sure she looks pretty, but she isn't worth anything. She has everyone else do the hard work for her, and mindless idiots defend her just because she's pretty. Take away the make-up and what are you left with? Not much. Not much at all.

I have a new site specializing in high-quality content on crime (Crime in America.Net) and justice. For whatever the reason, we get a ton of hits from StumbleUpon, but nothing from Digg and Redditt, and I wonder why?
