Dave and Patrick. Both of your first couple sentences are "DUH!!" statements. They are both good stories but I bet if you poled sports fans across the country more people would care about the Lee trade. I believe the same for the NW. Lee trade over Locker returning 60%-40%

I voted for Cliff Lee purely because the other option was voting for a Husky. Hey Joseph maybe you should have a winning season first, before you talk about re-establishing yourself as an elite national program.

Only Mariner fans care about Cliff Lee. All Husky fans care about Locker coming back! Sorry, couldn't resist poking fun at Patrick's non-logical comment. It takes about a second to see why. By the way, they are both big stories. Hopefully there'll be lot's of exitement here next fall!

I don't think Jake Locker should be the bigger story...I think it will be/is. Which is a commentary on the region's sports-team affection. Me? I'm a much bigger M's fan than I am Huskies fan. Glad Jake's staying. Gladder (yes, I know) Lee's comin'.

The fact that Locker is turning down an opportunity to be taken in the top 10 NFL draft should probably be a slightly bigger story in my opinion. If he was slated to be picked anything but the top ten I would say Cliff Lee. But wow, if there was ever a day where two headline stories were equally split on the front page tomorrow would be it.

Please. Cliff Lee taking the hill behind King Felix would be great and all, but Locker's senior season - especially if it includes a bowl berth and a legitimate Heisman campaign - is going to be huge in re-establishing Washington as an elite national program.

I like this poll question but the fact that Jake was never gone, and he was always a member of the team...bringing in another CY Young candidate is a way bigger story. This is turning out to being a great monday!
