I think this stargate (SGU) is by far the best one yet. If you look closely at SG-1 and Atlantis when your watching, you can almost predict how the epsode is going to end. And all the characters are "GOOD". When watching SGU I can see how each character has a darker side which makes it more interesting for the plot. And the way the episodes are shot breaths new life into the dying franchise.
Not only this, but for the first time the cast is made up of great actors who can sell all the emotions and angles.This mixed with

Quite frankly I have found nothing compelling about this show. The characters are shallow and superficial. The episodes are dull and uninspiring. I can honestly say it is all very forgettable. To me at least. I keep watching and trying to like the show, but it's just not happening.
I applaud the writers for trying to come up with something original, but in a universe with stargates, why oh why would you make a show about a starship?

I absolutely loved the Stargate shows, miss them so much!! But Stargate Universe just doesn't do a thing for me. I feel the writing is weak and the shows are just blah blah blah. There are so many adventures they could be having at each stop, and instead they fight with each other all the time. I understand there is conflict, but SUCK IT UP AND DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. I was so glad they kicked off the idiotic doctor but you know he will be back causing a problem. where is SG-1 and Atlantis when you need them?????
