I, too, am from Alabama. But a parade for Mark is a given. The city of Flint has reason to be extremely proud of one of its own. The people of Alabama are happy that he chose to play for the U of Alabama. But Flint is his home and an enormous amount of credit for his success goes to Flint, Mi.

With all of the negative feedback on the city of Flint, MI over the years, We finally have something to be proud of, why not honor this Historical Event!! Mark Ingram is very well deserving of a Hometown Parade!!!!

Being from Alabama I really dont have a say, only that Mark is so deserving of a prade.Mark is an outstanding youg man,one that is not only an awesome football player but is equily admired off the field,in the class room.a true role model.
Watching Mark grow into something special the last two years has really touched my life as it has for all Bama fans. The way he answers the sidline interviewers with an yes maam or yes sir.His love for his family, his respect for his coaches and team mates, his work habbits in the class room trulely defines him as a class act.you know, you can turn the tv on anytime ind find gloom. Then rarely you find a young man such as Mark that truley does make a difference. In closing Id like to thank the good folks of Flint for allowing us to borrow Mark for a few years, hes truely the brighest star in the sky.RTR

I don't see why this why even be a question. This is a given. Flint has something great to Celebrate. Mark Ingram is homegrown greatness. Even if the City does not have the money, Businesses and organizations in the area should sponsor this event. Get crackin y'all.

Flint is Mark's home town. He is the first Heisman Trophy winner to come out of the City of Flint. He deserve to have a parade.
