The clean pristine look of the Gardiner Expressway in the submissions does not seem to fit in with reality. Submission D is the only one to show the fort in context with its surroundings. Since to the objective is presumably to enhance the surroundings and experience of the Fort it is hard to judge submissions A,B and C from the material submitted.
The Fort was originally by the lake. I think that a case could be made for the ideas that were suggested in past eras to relocate the fort to be next to Lake Ontario, but since this never happened the best scheme would be the one that most effectively made the Fort seem as if were not surrounded by modern distractions. It is hard to judge if any of the schemes accomplish this.
