Should the Dodgers trade Juan Pierre?

omg, of course they should trade him. for a bucket of batting practice balls or warm spit. it was a terrible signing, a subpar outfielder with no arm, a career obp around .330 and no power. the dodgers were very fortunate that for the first 20 games Manny was out of the lineup JP played out of his mind. But the next 30 he was his free swinging low obp self. free up a roster spot, free up 1/2 of his salary and bring Xavier Paul up as the 4th outfielder. JP's trade value will never be greater than it is now, pull the trigger and put this mistake behind us.

Juan deserves to play daily. The Dodgers can't do it so they should get value for value and trade him. But the McCourt mess leads one to believe, after seeing what is going on with Dodger free agents, he will be the 4th outfielder and be a bench player. Lets hope someone steps in and takes over for current owners.

no cuz then if manny gets injured who will replaced him. So if they do who will bunt better then juan and they will lost like there best out field. DONT LEAVE US JUAN WE WILL MISS U

Juan is such a class act, and has done exactly what he was (over)paid to do. He does deserve to start somewhere, but we'll never get an actual ace in return - even one with a bloated contract. Teams would be crazy to part with front-of-rotation talent like we so desire. The front office has their thumbs up their rears trying to figure out who reports to whom, and how to give each other raises without it showing up on Frank M's balance sheets in divorce proceedings, that they can't even offer arbitration to Wolf - at least we'd have gotten the draft pics when he left. Instead we'll trade Juan for a garbage 5th starter. Good work, Colletti. Or is it McCourt? Or is it Mannion? Or is it...

I voted yes they should trade Juan for his own benefit.
If the Dodgers aren't going to play him they should send him somewhere that will.

It's not about, Manny or what kind of season Juan had last year,
the point is for 9 million he is not worth, a 4th outflieldet... Great year
last year but we need to use that 9 million on a arm, or depth on our bench!

Juan is an up and down player. 2010 would seemingly be his down year. Trade him now while he has some value.

Pitching is the name of the game. If we can get a reliable and consistent pitcher, go for it.

Yes..only if it's a ace type starting pitcher...we need another team to join in so we can get a 3 way trade like the manny deal. Love ya Juan but you'll have your play time and well have our ace...everybody happy ...hopefully!

Manny will end up on the DL or suspended, so they will need Juan.

If they plan to keep Manny past this comming up year then yes trade Pierre. But the dodgers would really need Pierre after this year if they have no plans of resigning Manny.
