If the Governor's Election were held today, which candidate would you choose?

Sen Chapman is my choice, hands down, for the next Governor of the State of Georgia. I have been major;y impressed with his integrity, his "grace under fire", his intelligence and his demeanor every time I've heard him speak. I have been in several meetings in which the future of Jekyll Island has been at stake and I've seen him in action.

I know Jeff is NOT the only candidate who cares about the future of Jekyll and about saving it from the mess the currnet Governor and the JIA (Jekyll Island Authority) have made of a so-called redevelopment plan for Jekyll which is, in my opinion, nothing more than a "get-rich-quick" scheme for members of the Authority and Sony Perdue. If allowed to continue, the JIA will effectively ruin Jekyll Island's biosphere and take it out of the reach of average citizens, and I feel Jeff Chapman is the best person to deal effectively with this issue.

I know that the election of the next Governor is not, and cannot be, a "one-issue" and I have no doubt whatever that Sen. Jeff Chapman is THE best person to lead Georgia back to economic prosperity and to do so with foresight and integrity.

Senator Chapman seems like a reasonable man who dares to think outside the box and has the courage to speak out thoughtfully on environmental issues such as the redevelopment of Jekyll Island and the state's water issues.
He doesn't let himself get caught up in merely spouting party positions, and I've never heard or read anything he said that made him sound like a crackpot who doesn't have a chance (as several do). And to my knowledge he has never been called into question about dubious campaign contributiions that would make me question his ethics as I do at least a couple of those running.
