First of all, the winner goes to the "Rose Bowl". Second of all this has been 10 years in the making. Why 10 years? Both teams stunk from inception until 1999. while Oregon has been decent a little longer, marked success for "both" teams is 10 years. Winning the Pac-10 before 1994 was a pipe dream for both teams that came every generation or so. And did any one ever think that we had a team that "could" do it year in and out? While maybe not now, this Oregon program has finally turned the corner. They will be top 3 from now on with lower in finish an aberation for some time. OSU is not going away! While I don't think they have it to place top three year in and out, they are good enough to contend in top half, and we all know what that means..... Probably not going to have a losing record while Riley is there.
