Will You UnFollow Those That Place Ads in Their Tweets?

I'm not all that enthusiastic about the prospect of ads on Twitter. However, I think I wouldn't mind the odd, well-placed ad. But if it was a constant stream, that person would have to go as I don't have time.

This isn't as easy as yes or no. If they ocassionally throw in an ad or referral then that isn't a big thing. If they tweet ads, etc over and over then yeah unfollow or more like never follow in the first place. A big part of tweeting is networking for your business, so throwing in an occasional ad benefit for you is fine, just don't over do it.

I doubt anyone I follow would or could disrupt my respect by tweeting ads, either in number or content. Partly because my entrepreneurial nature would be interested in their attempt at that model anyway.

If the ads are useful and relevant to what i do i will not unfollow. However, if the ads are not useful and irrelevant to what i do i will unfollow.

It depends - the odd tactful plug for your business is ok as long as the majority of your tweets have informational value to your followers. If every tweet or every second one is an ad, then yes, I unfollow.
