any bill in congress should not be voted on if it's over 100 pages long. the bill should bever reach a vote if it's over 100 pages. committees should hold a bill until it is less than 100 pages long. period.

Of course they should read the bill. Who fried their brain? Would you sign your will without reading it? Any one who does this does not deserve to be a senator and should be removed from office. Also, any organization that uses coercive persuasion to pass any legislation does not represent the people. On the other hand, I guess this would eliminate the need for reading the bill before approving it.
