With the election date in Dominica set for December 18, 2009, which party do you believe wil form the next government?

I cannot believe DA is going into an election without electoral reform. I have no confident in this election; no matter what the outcome.

What is the electoral reform that is needed? Every country which holds elections need reform. Do you trust the elections that brought Mr. Obama to office? Once some people leave Dominica they become ex-pats and ex-perts. Our elections are transparent and our vote is counted. No one follows you to the booth, and you can cast your vote freely.

I sometimes wonder why we as Dominicans seem to always say the worst things.The government has done good and we should give them a chance to continue to work for the good of our country

Yes there has been some progress in DA. But there has also been much too much corruption.

the question is, are we better off now than 5 yrs ago? for sure we are, this is the best stage dca has ever been in its development and the uwp cannot stand that so like a cornered rat they harp on corruption but the very leader says it is hard to put their hands on any eveidence, so in the mean time they should shut up while we prepare to pack them up on the 18 and take our chances with the energetic and visionary Roosevelt Skerrit.

DLP is doing a good job. There is alot of work in progress and so we must give them the opportunity to show us the end results. We cannot leave what we have for uncertainty. Look what has happened to St. Lucia. I am confident that the people will give DLP the mandate, it will either be 14-7, there are 2 seats that are too close to call, if it goes in DLP's favor, then it will be 16-5.

After today when the DLP comes back with a decisive win i hope we will put aside all the malice and come together to work as Dominicans under the leadership under the beloved, Roosevelt Skerrit. I never seen a more hateful election season. If tmr I am no longer enchanted by the DLP i know for sure that I will never ever support the UWP. They have gone to unbelieveable lengths to disrupt Dominicans coming home and have made so many Dominicans in the Diaspora feel like when they have left Dominica they should have no say at all in Dominica or its poilitics. The only work that comes to mind when i think of them is "EVIL". I hope those same people are not going to come back to the Diaspora for support in the future.

Congratulations DLP! A victory well deserved! PM Skerritt continue to lead Dominica to prosperity. You conquered despite the ten thousand folds against you. Hats off to a real champion!
