How Would You Rate TNA's Turning Point PPV?

As a lifelong WWE fan I can say without bias that to give TNA's TURNING POINT a ZERO rating is the HEIGHT of ignorance! Even more so if it was done sight unseen. If u saw it and gave it a ZERO rating then u MUST have been looking for the FOOD CHANNEL! Easily better than BRAGGING RIGHTS whose only EPIC match was the IRONMAN. One comment talked about the lack of enthusiasm from the crowd. INSANITY! TNA crowds are smaller but they are the most loyal and honest. WWE universe is COPYING them now with similar chants like " U STILL GOT IT!!" The sheep should stop kidding themselves and start looking at the industry with clear and honest eyes! Doing so makes you a winner cuz u get to enjoy MORE WRESTLING. It took me a LONG time to warm up to TNA and overall I still think that WWE is the superior brand. But TNA has harder working talent whose efforts deserve recognition and appreciation!! AJ Styles is NOT my all-time favorite superstar. But I can say without any bias and beyond any doubt...THAT HE IS THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN!! Even personal faves like Morrison and Kofi Kingston can't match the UNCANNY PRECISION of his moves!! You are missing out if you have not seen this man in action!!! Kurt Angle & Desmond Wolfe showed the beauty and the DRAMA of a Classic Style wrestling match! Turning Point was a great PPV and u are lying to urself and everyone else if u think otherwise!

DUR HUR HUR HUR! I'M FIGHTING ON THE INTERNET!

Guys give it up. There's no point in bitching at each other. Everyone has already made up their minds which company they like and no amount of insults is going to make the other side magically change their minds.

TNA rocks. I was an avid WWE fan since the 80's, now i find i watch more of TNA then WWE as the wrestling in TNA is spectacular. When they first started out, sure TNA was iffy, but now...it owns WWE.....TNA is 75% wrestling 25% soap opera where as WWE is 75% soap opera and 25% wrestling. You hear the crowd screaming "this is awesome" in most of the TNA matches...especially x division matches. So the guy who eluded to the crowd sittign on their hands the whole time must have tuned in between matches i guess. In most of the WWE matches you can hear the crowd chanting "boring". You always see something new when you watch TNA matches, you rarely see anything new in a WWE match. The TNA Knockouts kick the WWE Divas anyday. TNA gives every wrestler there chance to shine, WWE keeps everyone in their own little place and you always see the same guys fighting the same guys. Gimmicks and storylines aside WWE has no one that measures up and can wrestle close to as good as guys like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Sabin, Daniels, Angle, etc... except for maybe Rey Mysterio and Jericho. Sure TNA may have some of the old school WWE guys, and some of those that couldn't make it in WWE, but the reason some of these guys couldn't make it in WWE was that they were held back and never given a chance to shine and show what they could do. They were always put in squash matches to put over those in the WWE. You watch a WWE match and 9/10 of the time you already can guess or know what the outcome is going to be. Oh wow here comes Kane or Untertaker to squash someone again. I'd tune in more to WWE if they brought back the boogeyman, now he was priceless to watch.

I enjoy both TNA and WWE but this PPV was better than most of WWE this year. Tim and jason should go and shove their heads up their asses as TNA is more entertaining and actually has wrestling not any hornswoggle/DX shit. GG has the right to say what he wants because he has watched TNA but those who are ignorant and cannot broaden their mined can go f**k themselves.

Obviously this PPV does not warrant a zero, so basically you can look at this poll without that option. Sure, everyone gets to have an opinion, but in all honesty, I don't care if the producers slapped your mother, there is no way on God's green earth that this ppv deserves a zero.

There were some classic matches, and some fun surprises. All in all, I'd even say a better PPV than Bound for Glory in some respects.

Wow, gotta love the moronic rants of the, clearly, mildly retarded WWE marks like jason. Watch the wrestling TNA has to offer, specifically the X Division, and then judge it. Hearing it sucks from some person who watched one match 5 years ago is nothing to base your judgement on. check it out for yourself.

NOW, that Turning Point was the best PPV I've seen all year, by either company. TNA saved me from WWE, and it was by putting on shows like this, showing off the great wrestling. I mean, the women's cage match between Kong and Tara was spectacular. You don't see good women's wrestling in WWE, just pretty faces. (with the exception of Mickie James, Natalya, and Beth) If it weren't for TNA, I would have quit wrestling again, and I look forward to their bright future.

ps - if you missed this one, you REALLY need to see it.

i love TNA but i had to work all day and all day night so i didnt get to watch it. so i didnt rate it but what i heard it was pretty good. main event i heard was good. and by the sound of these comments i should be kicking my self cos i missed it.

  • gg - 14 years ago

Watched TNA here and there and it's just so boring to watch. 99% of the time the crowd just sits on there hands, even at the end. TNA needs to do a better job of getting people excited at a wrestling event.

  • K4P - 14 years ago

Jason, you are an idiot. You cannot say that TNA has ripped off WWE unless you admit that the WWE is the KING of rip offs. I mean, Steve Austin = Sandman, DX = NWO, the list goes on and on.

The difference is WWE is more entertainment, TNA is more wrestling. A true Pro Wrestling fan with some brains will watch TNA's Turning Point and be amazed. For me, it was the PPV of the year so far, and to the WWE marks who haven't seen it, don't watch it. Your mind's are made up already.

    5/5

If you don't watch something than don't vote! If you watched and saw Angle vs Wolfe there would be no way you'd vote a 0. Funny WWE PG fans.

  • jason - 14 years ago

    Nice Tim
i agree tna fans are stupid they vote every wwe event a 0 the difference being wwe ppv's are accually 100000 times better and they get people paying to watch the show unlike dumb tna fans who only go and watch it cause its free lol

seriously sometimes i wonder how tna fans can be so dumb but hey if you watch tna then you already have to be a dumbass

lets all watch a run down company where they just sign former wwe guys and copy things that wwe and wcw done years ago, but mostly all tna fans are prob drug addicts and pot heads so they dont remember anything from the past

  • tim - 14 years ago

o stop your crying you stupid tna loser fans, you guys do the same to every wwe ppv so stop complaing if you cant handle what people vote then dont come to this site

  • Eric - 14 years ago

The only thing that i would have changed is to have a hardcore match featuring Raven, Dr Stevie, Abyss, Foley, instead of the women/knockouts. Otherwise great PPV. 4 stars.

  • Orbit626 - 14 years ago

It simply amazes me how so many people can have their heads so far up Vinces ass that they feel they have to vote 0 on every TNA PPV. It makes me sad to be a human knowing there are so many SHEEP in the world. Anyone who watched Turning Point last night got their moneys worth. The WRESTLING, (and thats why we watch right?) was EXCELLENT. The Angle/Wolfe and Joe/AJ/Daniels matches alone made this PPV at least a 4. The crowd was hot all night, and in all honesty, I think it was a better PPV than BFG.
If you dont like TNA, thats fine, thats your choice. But your just a freaking IDIOT to vote 0 on something you most likely didnt even watch. And if you did and you paid for it, that makes you an even bigger loser as TNA still gets your money dumbass.
The bigger and better TNA is, the bigger and better WWE gets. I know that is hard for sheep to understand, but competition....thats a good thing idiots.

  • PJ Frost - 14 years ago

I can't stand the nullifying of TNA and people that dont even watch the brand and vote a 0.....come on...TNA > WWE but these people won't give it a chance.

I went to the PPV last night. And it was amazing live.

The crowd was jumpin...Every match had quality.

And Angle Wolfe, and Joe Styles Daniels were both > HBK TAKER.... Yeah I said...

TNA owns WWE right now. And Vince has to be shittin bricks that Hogan came to TNA and not WWE.

In the long run TNA will smash WWE just like WCW was SMASHING WWF

Give TNA a chance.. and you will enjoy it more than this PG Rated WWE Shit
