Looking thru the comments I notice the same old stuff. People who object to Ron Paul and especially those who call him a "kook" rarely have ANY idea of what he stands for. Nor do they have any notion of what this country was founded on. No surprise that this corresponds for them, because it corresponds for Dr. Paul.

What could be kookier than the Marxist zoo animals that Obama has un-Constitutionally appointed as "czars"? How dare ANYONE call Ron Paul a kook?!?

If people would bother to learn before they vote, Dr Paul's victory here would be even bigger. When he first ran for Congress he won by tiny margins, even lost once, if I remember correctly. By now (after 30+ years) the people in his district know more about him, and only a glutton for punishment will run against him. The republican establishment, who say they are for "smaller government" (evidently meaning 'smaller than Obama would have') try again and again to crush him in the primaries. Funding and support for this comes from many big government republicans, including G W Bush and Newt Gingrich. I guess they cannot stand the glare of the truth. But Dr Paul's margin of victory in the primaries just keeps increasing. The Dems no longer run against him as they know they have no chance. Once the truth is out, the voters there are not about to be fooled.

Perhaps it is time for his detractors to learn the truth, or else expose themselves for the hypocritical supporters of big government that they truly are.

The truth will win eventually, and when it does, history will be cruel to the loudmouths, if it remembers them at all, and history will be very, very kind to the man who steadfastly, no, heroically, stood for the Constitution, Individual Liberty and the Truth, thru thick and thin, good times and bad, often alone, but no longer, Dr. Ron Paul.

To borrow from Ross Perot. There is a NEW "Giant sucking sound".
It's the sound of large numbers being moved from your paycheck, to fill a galaxy sized hole called Debt.

    Now about PALIN
Paul supporters are intimately familiar with what is happening to her via the Media. In 2007-08 we called it getting "Ron Pauled". The media is tearing her down, in a very harsh way. They are using extremely evil tactics. And anyone who supports someone other than Palin, will take EVERY negative comment, EVERY lie, and spread it around the internet, on TV, Newspapers, until it feels like the truth. It doesn't have to be true at all. Just repeated often.

Welcome to Ron Paul's world. Where the media giggles at the mention of your name.

EXCEPT..She does seem to Have Fox News on her side. I don't consider that a positive!!. They have an agenda all their own (make Beaucoup dollars off of the previously ignored, flag waving, war mongering demographic). Don't piss off FOX, Don't make Glenn Beck Cry, Hannity tell the truth, or O'Reilly grow a brain. You'll be sorry!

  • Shane - 14 years ago

I am just another Ron Paul Supporter. A majority of comments are from Ron Paul Supporters and that is why he is winning this poll, but who cares about polls. The National Debt is $12 TRILLION and the dollar is about to be worthless. Good luck to all of you in the future. 2010 will be a very bad year.

"Being a Libertarian DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOU CONSERVATIVE!
Ron Paul has quoted himself as a "Strict Constitutionalist" which does not give him conservative credential

If by saying that he does not have conservative principals you mean his record of 32+ years of voting on the most conservative platform in Congress, or returning a portion of his offices budget to the treasury by balancing his offices budget every year, or by standing year after year against the wasteful spending of tax dollars, or by refusing to take junkets from the lobbyists, or perhaps it was his refusal to take part in the scandalous retirement program funded by the tax payer that he does not participate in?

I will have to agree, absolutely no conservative principals what so ever! Thanks for straightening us out magnogreato, it might be in your best interest to self educate instead of being spoon fed main stream media propaganda against the most honest, caring, and responsible politician in Washington. I will agree though, it is much easier to listen to those that would oppose him for their own gain while working against the American people, even if it makes you look ignorant on a forum board!

I just finished reading Jim DeMint's book "Saving Freedom" - Great read - Ron Paul was only one of two people in DC that DeMint has kind words for.

  • nelg379n - 14 years ago

Betterant, A Libertarian is a Conservative through and through. Get off the couch and quit eating Cheetos and educaate yourself. The GOP is another side of the same coin taking us down the hole further and further. Iraq/Afghan is a fraud to bankrupt the country. Don't you find it weird that Obummer is doing exactly the same thing Bush did, only on Steroids when he promised he wouldn't?.

Think for yourself and quit watching the fraud Fox News, I will give you a pass for watching Glenn Beck, he is good :).

  • GreatScott - 14 years ago

I am a big Ron Paul supporter- I would support Michele Bachmann in a heart beat. I will not support Sarah Palin until I know more about who she accepts money from and what her stance is on Iraq/Afghan, TARP and the takeover of the American Economy and does she even know about Secret Societys aka CFR, Bilderberg Group, Tri Lateral Commision etc.

  • Sandra - 14 years ago

I am a woman and no way would I want Palin. She was elected Governor and then quits. Unless someone writes her speeches she doesn't know what to say. What track record does she have? What has she championed? I am so afraid some women what her just because she is female. That is NO reason to elect a woman. What the heck is Conservative about her? She is all for war and buddies with Israel. Israel can take care of itself just like the rest of the countries. Bring our troops home from these wars for profit. I am so tired of politicians who talk and strut and look handsome or cute. I want a STATESMAN who has a brain and has Worked in the REAL world and went into politics for the RIGHT reasons not to control me but empower me to run my own life. Good Luck, Ron

  • Betteranat - 14 years ago

Aside from the fact that a libertarian isn't a conservative, and that Ron Paul is a fringe person, given this choice the only vote would be for Sarah Palin. She is a conservative and has proven that even her own party can have bad apples in it an if so, she will clean them out too. Ron Paul ran last time and was marginalized as a loon. Electability, people! There is no sense in replacing one jerk with another one.

  • Paul is Great - 14 years ago

    Bobby Hutson

er..No..That's just not true about Paul supporters not wanting a woman.
For one thing, Paul is a man. So, what you say is not quite fair.
It's about issues, not sex..so STOP IT...We support many female candidates!
    We want MORE female candidates!

A lot of us Were VERY INTERESTED in Palin as a running mate for Paul
That is, until she teamed up with McCain. She has a lot of explaining to do,, on that one..

  • Bobby Hutson - 14 years ago

I believe the reason a lot are voting for RP, is because they just don't want a woman for president, even though she has the best TR. I have talked to many out of this circle that oppose a woman for president and if they were honest
they would admit it here to.

  • Rands a Moron - 14 years ago

Sorry, I am a moron, not Governor Palin

  • Rand - 14 years ago

    Palin's a moron.

  • GreatScott - 14 years ago

James- Yeah, the Mitt Romeny who created State subsided HealthCare in Taxachussettes?. Now that's a passionate Conservative. Republicans are the second side of the same coin taking us down the hole further and further. Obama is doing a damn good job Destroying this Counytry. McCain would have done the same thing.

  • James You Tard - 14 years ago

I don't know where you been James, but if you take your head out of your ass, you would already have known that both parties have been wrecking this country for decades. President's don't fix nations. They don't create jobs. They don't save countries. You're thinking of a king you goddamn fool. You want a king? Go suck Obama's dick. We just need a federal government to stop whipping out dollars faster then we can save them, quit borrowing from China, and to quit with the silly overseas policy that's costing a trillion a year. Oh yea, they need to kick the healthcare plans to the curb. YOU SEE JAMES. WE NEED AN ADMINISTRATION THAT WILL DO NOTHING. IF THE GOVERNMENT DID NOTHING FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS, WE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO CATCH UP. BUT EVERY FUCKING YEAR, IT'S SOMETHING NEW. EITHER A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN IS BUSY BENDING OVER THE ENTIRE NATION WITH THEIR SWEEPING BULLSHIT POLICIES. So fuck off James.

  • James - 14 years ago

No wonder why us so called con/republicans are in the mess we are in. Ron Paul & Sarah Palin. You got to be kidding. And picking John McCain as the candidate in 2008. Can't we do better folks. We are going to lose again while Obama is "wrecking" the nation. We might not have a USA as our founding fathers perceived if Obama gets 4 more years. How about USRA United Socialist Republic Of America. My pick would be Mitt a fiscal conservative & a passionate republican.

  • Rob - 14 years ago

Ron Paul has NEVER voted contrary to the Constitution. He is the ONLY true conservative.

Rand Paul, a candidate in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Kentucky revealed in an interview Thursday for the Wall Street Journal's Washington Wire blog that his campaign has asked 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin to campaign for him:

Washington Wire: Do you want Sarah Palin to campaign for you?
Paul: We’d love to have her come. We’ve made some overtures to her.

Washington Wire: What about Tim Pawlenty or Mitt Romney?
Paul: I don’t know much about Tim Pawlenty. Romney, there’s a mixture of beliefs there.

  • Bobby Hutson is a damnable fool - 14 years ago

Hey Bobby You Knuckled Headed Moronic Filth!!!!!!!!!!

Reagan tripled the deficit on his watch, and was the poster child for deficit spending. He showed the entire planet how to use funny money to spend on things you can't afford. He disclosed a little known secret (hint it's no secret at all, but he showed everyone that a country can get away with it), that it's not necessary to TAX PEOPLE AT ALL! Why? BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT MAKES THE MONEY YOU FRIGGIN MORONS (with the help of a pseudo private central bank that happens to be a cartel called The Federal Reserve). So the government needs a bigger budget, they don't even need to collect taxes, they can just print it. It's called deficit spending. And Reagan that jolly smiled, pleasant faced dolt kicked off the beginnings of a mega-economic-bubble, becoming the template for all presidents to come, and spreading the disease to the rest of the planet. Oh and guess what. China has learned quite well from Reagan. It's called cheating with currency. And they are handing our asses to us. Because they knew that Reagan's little trick would only go so far, and actually it was going to accelerate gutting America of it's manufacturing base. So Bobby Hutson, you need to fucking leap off a cliff, because you're too stupid to live.

  • Bobby Hutson - 14 years ago

So did Reagan. But what he did!

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

It's true..Palin does support illegal wars. And supports the use of our tax dollars to fund Israel. If she would simply change her mind about that. If she would only be honest with herself about the giant black hole of endless war. I'd consider her to be GOOD for the country.
But, she won't and I won't. and I will continue to explain this to people.

It's sad to think that with these positions, she could actually win.
But that's a dumbed-down America for you. Style over substance.

I hear she was on Oprah today. yay!

  • Leo Sykes - 14 years ago

I've already posted why Palin stepped down and what a neo-con is, so will not again.
After many years of support for Paul I thought the chance of voting for him was near. But it didn't happen ..... he quit.
I didn't support him so he could write a book, or fill up his gas tank. No more support of him for me.
Paul is not a government execative type but a legislator. He is where he is needed, except for maybe Speaker of the House.
Question: Will he support Palin when she runs for president or not help as with the SAVE ACT?
Palin has some government execative experience and has a personality that people go for. All she needs is good advisors. Maybe like Paul.
One can easily tell who the lefties are afraid of. The media attack is focused on them. Palin has been and is still being attacked to this day. Very few people of the US even know who Paul is.
And yes, Palin IS for the Mid-East wars and protecting Israel ..... that is what the majority of the citizens want.

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

    gerry said:
Palin's votes were going up because the word got out to Palin supporters. I don't know how honest the poll has become, but I voted as soon as I heard about the poll.

It started out to be a 1 vote per person poll..a very slow accumulation of votes for both sides. Then there was a Palin blast, then a Paul blast..Back and forth, back and forth. over a hundred votes per minute. Now it's just a spam vote.

So...I respectfully ask the Creator of this poll, to wipe out the results. And start from Scratch..pretty please?
It would be nice to have an accurate depiction of the final outcome.
    Thank you!

"You stupid Paultards can't keep up with my voting macros! I have them running on three computers! This in one poll Ron Paul will not win! I'm going to guarantee that! Sarah Palin 2012!"

Call me old fashioned, but since when have "voting macros" been accepted as normal and responsible behavior in public opinion polls?!! The fact that anyone would even openly admit to cheating on the polls for any candidate is rather shocking and despicable! No wonder this country has such a problem with voter fraud.

  • Eddie - 14 years ago

No way . Us Ron Paul supporters have more bot voters than anyone in the world, even Obama. Don't you remember who won the NPR basketball poll? No way will we let anyone but Ron win. Ron Paul for President!

Just heard about this poll. Voted once, as usual, for Dr. Paul.
I must say, I do like Palin, but liking someone doesn't mean they get my vote.
Being correct, and principled, with regards to the spirit of the constitution, will get my vote.

You know the intelligence of someone when they post something like this......

"We are here on this conservative site deciding who would be the best candidate for 2012 while our government is busy with its facist take-over of banks, car industries, healthcare, and the list goes on. We sit here calling each other's candidate names but fail to see that our country is sinking like the Titanic. Forget what the press brainwashed you with but instead open your eyes. A Conservative, if you are one, believes in individual responsibility, and there has been no editorials, no opinion pages, no support whatsoever from Ron Paul, who has the knowledge (doctor) and the expertise (many years in government) to convey to others whats is wrong with the current system we are invoking. Please tell me the governmental decisions Ron Paul has begun as a leader of his state, not the words he speaks. Mr Owens in New York said he was against healthcare, but once in office, voted for it. Isn't it time we conservatives look at actual decisions that others have made before expousing names such as wingnuts, moron, etc... Sarah Palin has attacked the healthcare issue while Ron Paul sat on the sidelines, Sarah Palin has attacked Cap & Trade while the rest of our Senators (Ron Paul included) sit comatose waiting for a miracle to happen, Sarah Palin has been the recipient of more vicious attacks that any other person, Ron Paul included. If you like the taxes that are headed your way, the inability to find jobs, and the main stream media distorting anything that isn't liberal, then by all means continue your innuendoes and tirades toward these two fine people. One has governed according to these beliefs, yet most of us sit here and bemoan the fact that which candidate should we vote for? How about instead of throwing around fallacies, we try to see things as they really are, and in the process we Conservatives may have a fighting chance to undo the distruction that is being done as we speak. We must unite, and quit defaming each of these candidates. Let the people decide for themselves, but let's not sound like Liberals who only see what the media tells them to see, but instead try debating the issues without the name-calling and unproven facts. A house divided will fall and with it will come America as we once knew it!"-- Dumb F@ck (MisterT50)

FFS. He said Ron Paul is a Senator, that clearly shows the intelligence from the Palin camp of supporters. BTW our house is not divided [you] Palin supporters are just visiting and refuse too leave, but don't worry will kick you out soon enough.

P.S. Ron Paul voted (NAY) on Crap and Tax when it was up for a vote in the house and has been strongly against the bill, but you wouldn't know that, else you wouldn't have made such a dumb post.

  • NYC - 14 years ago

Just the fact that Palin is actually a viable candidate in America reveals the stupidity of the American Polulation.. The woman was an ex beauty Queen. Come on people... If we keep this up it wont be long before the US is a third world nation..!!!

    @ Bruno's Mom

I'm glad your son was able to make some money on his film through fraud and attempted assault on innocent people. Maybe now you won't have to work the corners at night, tramp.

Ron Paul For make benefit Glorious nation of America!

  • Bruno's Mom - 14 years ago

I support Ron Paul because if he can charm the pants off Bruno, he can do it to Obama too. Besides, Ron is now a star on the silver screen.
    .

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

I wish America would stop voting for style over substance.
These disagreements would stop happening, and Ron Paul would be finishing up his first year as president.

I challenge the Sarah Palin supporters to educate themselves on the character of Ron Paul. go to youtube, and watch the old debates, his stance on conservative topics, and the economy. Watch some old interviews too.
THEN come back and bring forth some arguments. Do the same with Sarah Palin videos. The contrast will become apparent.

You'll be surprised at what you can learn for yourself. Rather than relying on mainstream news sources like Fox, CNN, Rush, Hannity to tell you which way the world turns.

Good luck in the poll spamming contest. Both sides are guilty of it!

  • John - 14 years ago

Ron Paul would be a MUCH better President than Sarah Palin. I highly doubt Sarah Palin could do well at all in a 1-on-1 debate with Ron Paul.

  • anony - 14 years ago

MisterT50 is showing how ignorant he is and should be embarrassed to post his ignorance for all to read. Ron Paul sits on sidelines on Healthcare, Cap & Trade and other issues!?!?!! What. The. Flying. F*ck. (??) Just how far up your ass is your head?? Not only has Ron Paul debated & fought every bit of points you posted - in fact, HE HAS WRITTEN & INTRODUCED LEGISLATION ON IT. Ron Paul's H.R. 1495: COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT 2009 has been sent to committee. Look up Ron Paul on Cap & Trade online & you'll see what he posted. Watch C-SPAN & DO SOME RESEARCH before you post such drivel. And for the record, Ron Paul is a Congressman not a Senator.

Sarah Palin knows more than Ron Paul??!!?? HAHAHAHALOLHAHAHAgaspLOLHAHAHAHA!!! If that's what you honestly believe you deserve to get your ass kicked up between your ears and out your mouth. 3 yrs. is enough to learn before you run for President??? If that's the case, then Ron Paul is WAYYYYY OVER-QUALIFIED & BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE TO BE PRESIDENT.

And Ron Paul supporters WILL NEVER SUPPORT a neo-con hog-leg like Palin. Get over it. That is just what the neo-cons want.

  • Nick - 14 years ago

My piece regarding what I have seen in the comments here and on the tcu homepage are as follows:

    1. Mainline Republicans/Conservatives now like Ron Paul, this seems to be a positive product of Glenn Beck

    2. Mainline Republicans/Conservatives seem to not be single issue warmongers like they were pre-Obama, and therefore can support Ron Paul. They were vehemently opposed to the point of hatred on the war and the drug issues alone during the election.

    3. Mainline Republicans/Conservatives have come up with some REALLY inane reasons to justify not voting for Ron Paul, many of which are outright lies

4.Mainline Republicans/Conservatives think that Sarah Palin is like Ron Paul, a negative product of Glenn Beck

    5. It seems like the Trotsky-ite socialist neo-cons have been all but driven out of most GOP sites, leaving people who are constitutionalists and sound thinkers on most of the issues besides the war. This is very, very good, but we must be on guard.

  • Nick - 14 years ago

    @Greg

"While I like Ron Paul, he has been in and around Washington long enough to be considered a professional politician."

If none of the bad things that are associated with being a professional politician apply, then why be against Ron Paul? This is like the "earmarks" shell game. There is nothing wrong with earmarks themselves, it is that they are spent unconstitutionally and insanely that is so bad.

"Palin is like a breath of fresh air. Her being outside the mainstream of Washington politics is what makes her so appealing to me."

Unlike Ron Paul, Palin's views are establishment Republican views that fit right in with the Beltway crowd. She sold out to campaign with McCain(A "fight terrorists over there and let them in over the border here" neo-con), for crying out loud!

"To the ones who are criticizing Palin for not having too much experience, she still has over 3 years before she takes office if she were to be elected. That's plenty of time to learn. Besides, we have one now that is getting on the job training. She already knows much more than him."

I agree that the lack of experience argument is weak.

"I'm afraid that they both will have to leave the Republican Party behind to get anywhere. From what I am seeing from the Republican Party lately, both of these are too conservative for them."

That's what the media seems to want. Palin to me seems like a mainstream Republican. Bush sounded more conservative on a number of issues, including the paleo-con position on foreign policy, than Palin did when he ran in 2000. I am not sure what she has done/said(besides being in that Alaska independence party for a while) that screams "third party". The whole thing REEKS of an establishment ploy to divide the party before real intellectuals in the Ron Paul Republican movement take the reins from the bloodthirsty sheep and their neo-con manipulators.. If we are going to create a third party, it will have to be a moderate party combing libertarians and constitutionalists with true progressives.

  • Greg - 14 years ago

it's gone from Paul winning the first two polls..To a battle of the Bots.
    Paulbots versus the Palinettes.
I hope the author of the poll throws out the results, and starts over BTW..
But in the meantime..Lather, Click, Repeat.

And to Sarah Palin..Get with it girl..there is still a chance to leave the dark side.
A lot of Ron Paul supporters, will support you too..
    Maybe even me!

I don't believe you know what you're talking about. Ron Paul makes almost daily television appearances on every major network, not only fox. He speaks out against this health care reform and every atrocious bill and policy that comes up. He speaks out on radio shows, internet shows, forums, speaking events, college tours, freedom galleries, tea parties. He has written countless articles and has had countless written about him and his endless fight against tyranny. He has written numerous best selling books on liberty, government and economics , has 20+ year voting record of consistently following the constitution and voting against big tyrannical government. Rather than just talk and criticize Ron Paul has written and proposed ACTUAL LEGISLATION as alternatives to the horrendous Healthcare bill of the Democrats and "socialism lite" consessions of the Republicans. How bout you look it up? All Ron Paul does is fight against tyranny!

"Ron Paul sat on the sidelines" ?!?!?!

Seriously are you blind? Deaf? Or just willfully ignorant? Honestly, what more can the man do (besides get through to you, apparently)? Nothing personal man but your assessments are all kinds of wrong. Do a little research "instead of throwing around fallacies" as you advocate.

    Recap of what's going on.
Some Palin supporters knowing they can't win legit against Paul, as evidenced in the last two rounds, started using a scripts and/or deleting cookies to vote multiple times and inflate her numbers.
Some Paul supporters not willing to let them get away with that are fighting fire with fire.

It's now a poll to see who has the most dedicated supporters.

    Go Ron Paul!

  • Avis-Is-An-Idiot - 14 years ago

Hey Avis you moron, if you had been watching this poll, you would have noticed that Pallin votes were coming in at a perfectly steady rate...I noticed since the count of 3000. tick....tick....tick....tick. OBVIOUSLY SCRIPTED BOT from the beginning of the poll.

Whereas the Ron Paul votes came in flurries at the beginning. Now it looks like you're getting some of your medicine back.

I'd say too bad soo sad. Perhaps next time the palin bots won't attack this poll right out of the gate ....not to mention be so obvious about it.

so fuck off. OH and one other thing. I think Ron Paul is a genius, and I know he won't be elected president, but he will get to speak. (something that Sarah has severe problems with unless she has a script ...we're back to scripting lol. ....anyway, Ron Paul is too good a man to be president. It's horrible thing to happen to anyone. It destroys and corrupts good men. So I'm not worried about Paul winning. But I will not vote for Palin. Period. Most real conservatives won't. Only stupid neocons and decepticons.

  • Avis - 14 years ago

This poll is worthless, the Paul votes are pouring in at a 10 to 1 rate. So sad.

  • Jon - 14 years ago

Lou......OF COURSE.......I DO NOT THINK RON PAUL HAS A CHANCE TO WIN!!!....not one.........you are so very right about that. I still vote for Ron Paul. Do you know why I dont think he's got a chance to win? BECAUSE AMERICA IS FULL OF IDIOTS LIKE YOU that are allowed to vote.........and you are such a sucker for PROPAGANDA that is played out on mainstream media each and every day. You're right...he doesn't have a chance.....but it is YOU that is the SUCKER.........not the RON PAUL supporters............take a look at the USA right now and just how good things are right now. People are losing jobs left and right.....no one trusts ANYONE in politics EXCEPT RON PAUL and that includes BARACK OBAMA........so it's not the Paul supporters that are causing this...........it's YOU IDIOTS!!!!

  • Lou - 14 years ago

I guess you all had your eyes closed when all of the Paul votes poured in yesterday. Open them up as they will start again soon. What a delusional bunch of people you Paulbots are. You seriously think he has a chance in any election? Obama 2012

  • Jon - 14 years ago

Ok.....I gave it about three to five min and I hit reload again......here are the results....

    Palin 16772
    Paul 18463

after I hit reload after waiting a few minutes here are the new numbers....

    Palin 16818
    Paul 18463

notive..........no change for Ron Paul.....yet Palin's increased by 46.....this has been going on ever since I started watching it....for the last 30 minutes I'd say.....

  • Furlough - 14 years ago

Dude, Palin is getting more than 1 vote per second. can the operator of this poll please kill the robot votes.

It's funny Palin people need to put a computer against the Ron Paul revolution. Great example of how pathetic NeoCons are.

  • Jon - 14 years ago

There is some serious BS going on with this POLL. I've already voted once but I heard someone commenting that something fishy was going on. So, I kept reloading it about every ten seconds and Palin's numbers are jumping considerably every single time I hit the reload button.....meanwhile Paul's numbers stay the same or grow by one or two per minute. How can that be if Paul's been leading the entire time and now suddenly a whole swarm of people are voting for Palin all at relatively the same time? Sure......they made claims two years ago that someone was spamming for Ron Paull but that proved wrong when he raised over 10 million dollars in two 24 hour periods online. Paul's the king of the internet where the mass media doesn't stand a chance of force feeding the ignorant how they should vote.

  • Detective Krum - 14 years ago

Ron Paul by far. I like Sarah Palin a lot but when I commented on a topic that was sensitive, she blocked me completely instead of just deleting the one comment and this tells me she may be a neo-con. As for Ron Paul, he is the most respected, truthful and one of the only Congressman with dignity and honor. Ron Paul IS the champion of the Constitution and I worked hard for his election last time and would do it again. GO RON PAUL.

  • Sarah Mckenna - 14 years ago

    (((((((((((((((PALIN2012)))))))))))))))

  • Boru - 14 years ago

lol...looks like Benjamin D beat me to it.

  • Boru - 14 years ago

Funny how no one here is mentioning that, BASED ON RECORD, Ron Paul is a real conservative and Palin is just another fake conservative.

  • Benjamin D. - 14 years ago

No offense to Sarah Palin, but Ron Paul has got her beat when it comes to true conservatism. Plus he has rallied more youth to the cause of liberty than any other conservative. Ron Paul is the champion of the Constitution and has the voting record and experience to prove it, which is a lot more than Palin can say for herself. To me, the decision is a no-brainer - Ron Paul is today's Mr. Conservative. Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Boru - 14 years ago

I am a huge Ron Paul fan, but Ron Paul DID quit. Instead of a much needed showdown at the RNC, he had the R4R. I consider it a big mistake; however, even with that mistake, he is still heads and shoulders above any other candidate...especially Palin. Palin total lack of experience is comparable to Obama.

So, without a doubt in my heart, I voted for Ron Paul.

  • bp - 14 years ago

its so obvious someone is auto voting for palin...so funny...paul will always be my president.

  • jeanieslade@yahoo.com - 14 years ago

Didn't Ron Paul run last time? He didn't do very well then.

  • GMartine - 14 years ago

Palin may have a spot in leadership in the future but she has alot of studying to do. Give her a few years of tuteledge under Ron Paul and she may be able to debate the competition but at this point she just doesn't have the policies to back her up.

Besides, I don't see any democrats switching over to vote for Palin. However Democrats can't help but recognize the fact that Ron Paul has been right all along.

  • McClarinJ - 14 years ago

I just want to be a little bit fair here. Both Paul and Palin are Christians and both had excellent reasons to quit, Palin because the Dem activists were sending her to the poorhouse with a flurry of bogus ethics cases (a possibility unique to Alaska) and she had to find some way to pay her attorneys, namely write her book and accept paid speaking engagements, and Paul because, short of a full delegate revolt at the nominating convention against McCain and for Paul, there was no possible way to win the GOP nod. The Dems (and probably some Romney supporters) were attacking Palin in Alaska in attempt to disable her for 2012. The banksters and New World Order types were no doubt pulling all their media strings to marginalize Paul because he would not have played their game.

It looked for awhile like there could have been a developing rapport between Paul and Palin but once she got hunkered down with Kissinger and Brzezinski and started stumping for our valiant war effort I knew Paul supporters would consider her unworthy.

  • sunny - 14 years ago

LEO - dr. ron paul did NOT quit.
    why do you say that?
he has continued with the campaign for liberty.
he has been fighting the good fight since first in congress
    in the 70's.
    he is NO quitter.
he puts the rest to shame!

  • sunny - 14 years ago

    this is a NO BRAINER!

Dr. Ron Paul is the ONLY true conservative in ALL of washington.

  • Massey Chusetts - 14 years ago

    Mitt!
What have you done to me?

  • KC - 14 years ago

Palin is too much of a neo-con (which literally translates to NEW Conservative) to ever be a supporter of Liberty. There is nothing old-school conservative about her. The neo-cons would love nothing more than to have her enter the movement & be on the inside thus taking attention away from Dr. Paul & the Real Issues. This must Never happen.

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

    Hey PJ McFlur,

Do you think Palin would support Paul? She does have some following, but she's got the war problem, and the issue of wearing religion on her sleeve.

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

Let's not forget that Paul eventually saw the writing on the wall. And very much like Sarah Palin, he had ALL media against him (that's a positive in my book).
Paul still had a position in the house of reps to run for. He won, of course.
But it would have been inconsiderate to let his constituents down.
Look how he has awakened so many since. And look how absolutely correct he has been about our economic situation.

  • PJ McFlur - 14 years ago

It would be nice to see Ms. Palin actually take a stand in support or not of Paul instead of treading the water to see if its warm or not.

Seriously, I like her.. but she better show leadership if she expects a vote from me. Ive had enough OB and Bush's to last me the rest of my life.

  • Charlie Shore - 14 years ago

Also, you mention that Barrack Hussein Obama had no experience and was elected anyways. LOOK at what that has brought our country.. Experience is necessary.

  • Charlie Shore - 14 years ago

hey leo sykes, Yes Ron Paul quit a few months before the Republican nomination delegate vote. He did so because he knew he could not win (obviously) and he wanted to use his left over funds to start the Campaign for Liberty, an organization that has inspired more people than a few months in 2008 would have done. Also, Sarah Palin quit her elected post as governor! Now tell me which is worse: an inevitable loss in a nomination election who's decision would lead to bigger and better things....or leaving a post for no apparent reason which volunteers and voters spent a lot of time and money to help elect. seems like an easy answer. now if i were you, i would vote on prinicple and what YOU believe in. True conservative principles or establishment principles which are not really principles at all.

  • Leo Sykes - 14 years ago

    Now I'm name calling.
An apology for the simple minds comment.

  • Leo Sykes - 14 years ago

As I don't use an alias some Ron Paul folks have E-mailed taking me to task.
My wife and I belonged to four different Ron Paul Meet-up groups, went to the state GOP convention as Paul delegats, as well as other support. Then the joker quit!
Palin stuck it out to the end. The media along with frivolous law suits tied her up so much that as a lame duck governor she thought it best to step down. Normally I don't vote for a woman as they are concerned with womans issues, "minority issues" (even if they are White), hug the trees and save the whales. Palin did admit to being a Christian soccer mom (is that bad?), but did not try for special treatment for them. The seeing Russia thing, for those of simple minds, was a light hearted way of saying that she had direct dealilngs with Russia. Fishing, shipping rights, etc.
I have had people tell me that Palin had not experience to be VP. But Hussein had none, and he is now president.
Paul votes right, is just where he does best. We just need more like him. He would be a good advisor to Palin. Paul would not be allowed to run for any party without being approved by AIPAC. Paul is a legislator, not a leader.
There is confusion as to neo-cons. They were "advisors" to Bush, folks who put the NWO/Israel before this country, many of them dual citizens with the US and Israel. Neo-cons are now called Czars. Notice Kissinger? Always unelected, but always in the government be it Gop or jackass.
Now, let the name calling begain.

  • John - 14 years ago

    Ron Paul inspires me.

  • Jesse J - 14 years ago

@ Leo Sykes...you voted for Palin because she's "the one who didn't quit"...that's a joke right? Palin is playing the populist tune hard, foresaking her elected position in Alaska.

Dr. Paul, on the other hand, has done anything BUT quit. You may know that he is still causing trouble for the establishment up on Capital Hill. This man has been fighting the good fight at least since the 1970's with undeniably the most principled votes in all of Congress.

And if we are serious about electability, than we need to understand that 2012 will be far different then our recent election. The youth in this country are hungry for real change. Obama didn't and won't deliver. A lot of that misguided energy is going to come to their senses and join the Revolution. The internet will continue to reach more voters and that means that the Truth will also be able to break through the conglomerate media that previously held down Ron Paul. Not to mention, the MSM has actually grown strangely fond of Dr. Paul in recent months, he's now a respected voice on all of the networks.

We need to save our country and Sarah Palin is simply not sincere enough to win the coming election. She won't convince the youth to follow her, and we know how the media (rightly or wrongly) feels about her. Dr. Paul is the only man with the credibility to stand up to the oligarchy of banksters, war mongers and career politicians.

We're all in the same boat folks, lets unite as Americans and take this country back!

  • Ronuloid - 14 years ago

Ron Paul, all the way in 2012.

  • bellasmile2 - 14 years ago

I am baffled as to why Sarah Palin would be on ANY poll as a "good or better" anything. If we are still offering Palin types as elects... we are ruined!

  • Jim - 14 years ago

Ron Paul has the solid experience and record that we will need to clean up Obama's mess in Washington, but Sarah Palin would certainly energize the ticket. Together I think they would make a great team. (And with a term, or two, as VP under her belt, she can position herself for future presidential runs!)

  • Gigione - 14 years ago

I voted once for Ron Paul. Sarah Palin is a quitter...she quit being Governor of Alaska. She lets the wind of politics blow her around.

  • Thundercloud's right... - 14 years ago

Early on in the day it was 81% for Dr. Paul to 19% Palin til some spamtards started up. So everyone knows who the REAL winner is.

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

    Brad said

"Oh, and stop rigging this vote" hehe..
You realize all these Ron Paul votes are a reaction to what was, up until now, a pretty honest poll..then Palin started getting 1 vote per second, or more.
    It's called "blowback".
You should have left it alone, and not cheated..shameful.

  • Thundercloud - 14 years ago

It's so cute to see people supporting Palin.
and to think I almost did. I was THIS CLOSE...Until she quit her job as Governor, and revealed herself to be yet another Neo-con flavored supporter of money wasting and empire building. . Why Sarah, why? We liked you..for a moment.
    Then, you blew it.

  • mike - 14 years ago

I don't mind Palin at all. If she could brush up on her history come off a bit more polished, I could vote for her. But this poll is a joke. The real choice here is Ron Paul.

  • Brad - 14 years ago

Actually Sarah Palin gets more respect from the countries outside our borders than Hillary gets. China hates Hillary as it is. Palin is kind hearted to her worst enemy. Ron Paul wouldn't even make a good VP. He's good for the treasury position. But Palin the the STAR PRESIDENT IN HEELS. There's thousands who have denounced the republican [RINO] party. She is choosing real men and women who believe in the Constitution and are willing to fight to keep it. So I'm not voting for a democrat hiding in republican's clothes. Say what you will. SARAH PALIN IS PRESIDENT. Oh, and stop rigging this vote.

  • Brad - 14 years ago

Looks like this voting thing is being manuevered because several hours ago we made a copy of the vote when Palin was at 57% and Paul was 46%. So Palin went from 57% down to 51% in two hours. Me thinks some rigging is going on here. Yeah don't bash Sarah, because the way I see it, Ron Paul has know the reserve has dupped the people and it wasn't until this last election that he stood in front of the building screaming and shouting like a lunatic. I think he would make a better news media broadcaster for the conserative sign. People need to go where their calling is - he's not a president. Can't control his temper for one. All the years he's served, he may have backed up his votes, but he hasn't done a darn tangible thing. Anybody can make a checkmark on a piece of paper. SARAH PALIN 2012 - she's proven everything said by the fringe media were lies.

  • PawnStorm - 14 years ago

Maybe Sarah Palin could be President Paul's running mate, but she still has some learning to do.

She HAS expressed that she likes Ron Paul, and it seems she is poking the Republican Party in the eye a little which is most excellent.

So for publicity and visibility she would probably be a decent vice president choice.

Not sure Dr. Paul would choose her though because she is a little confused on Constitutionally correct foreign policy.

  • Oliva - 14 years ago

    I voted but...
    So What?
Is there a point to this exercise?

  • DWILL4RON - 14 years ago

Sara may have the look, but only Ron Paul has walked the walk while talking the talk. If not for him most Americans would still be in the dark about the Fed and the erosion of our constitutional liberties. Ron Paul has been unquestionably the most vocal hard working uncompromising man on capitol hill for three decades now. Never selling us out, never mincing his words for votes or money and a host of other positive points too numerous to name. How can anyone even compare him to Sara Palin. I don't want to bash her so I wont, but she has NOTHING on Ron Paul. Pauls history speaks volumes about his character and integrity. Look just a little further beneath the surface and you will see the difference between a politician(Palin)and a statesman(Ron Paul). Let us seek out substance in 2012, or I guarantee there will truly be no hope left for America. RON PAUL 2012 (Thats if we have that long).

  • poq - 14 years ago

    Voted once.
    Ron Paul is my president

  • T.J. - 14 years ago

Spam...without a doubt. There is almost 10 times the amount of votes on the first day of this poll then there were in either round 1 or 2 of this poll. Ron Paul won by a landslide the first 2 rounds. It doesn't really matter...to each their own. Ron Paul is the champion of the Constitution and as president will turn this country around more than Palin could even dream about. Maybe if she is lucky, Dr. Paul will ask her to be his running mate.

  • Lyle - 14 years ago

Who's Sarah Palin? Never heard of her.

Now, Ron Paul- we love him!

  • Netzorro - 14 years ago

  • Camel4Liberty - 14 years ago

This poll is getting spammed so hard! There's no way there are this many people voting legitimately.

  • Jack - 14 years ago

    Sarah Palin ROCKS .....

  • Mike Allard - 14 years ago

Ron Paul is the only conservative in this poll. Palin is a Patriot Act supporting, war mongering blood-thirsty christian NeoCon that is most interested in serving herself. Ron Paul has worked tirelessly and unselfishly for the cause of freedom for a very long time. Ron Paul is the most popular politician on the planet....but idiots, fools, and those that are victims of the Faux Snooze NeoCon mind control programs are allowed to vote too. Oh well....whataya gonna do!

  • Kyle - 14 years ago

Leo- Who said Ron Paul quit?? Ever heard of the Campaign for Liberty? Or his two books? Or his constant and unhindered fight for freedom in America?

  • Harry Hartley - 14 years ago

Sarah Palin is the best looking of the two, that's for sure. But, Seriously, Dr. Paul wins, hands down, in every other category.

If you'll spend a few minutes watching videos of the two (various YouTube video interviews for example), you'll quickly see that Dr. Paul's intellect on the economy, history of America, and much more is ASTOUNDING. Sarah Palin? Her videos only show she is COMPLETELY UNDER-QUALIFIED for the job.

It's a shame because she certainly has some things going for her. Again, do yourself a favor, watch some videos and you'll see that Ron Paul should be leading this country.

  • Camel4Liberty - 14 years ago

To Leo Sykes: how about when she resigned from the governer's office. Wouldn't you call that quitting?

  • Anon - 14 years ago

Ron Paul POTUS 2012. Painlin is a neo-con blowhard who can "see Georgia Russia from her kitchen window" as if that qualifies her on foreign affairs. Even she knows she has NO leadership skills and can't cut it. Why else couldn't she finish her job as Governor? She's dim-witted & a quitter.

  • Leo Sykes - 14 years ago

I have alway been for Ron Paul, but remember, this time he quit.
    Sarah Palin didn't.
Then I see now Paul (or his people) have joined in the bashing
    of Palin.
    I can't go that,
    so the vote for Palin,
    the one who didn't quit.

  • Karla Felter - 14 years ago

Lwts see here, on one hand we have someone who has all of the others finally acknowledging & discussing the constitution & the UNconstitutionality of this abominable healthcare bill, cap & tax(trade) bill. By Ron Pauls actions he has walked the talk & not just spewed vitriol by telling people what they want to hear, & then doing the opposite. Let us get it right this time around Americans, we might not have another.

  • Camel4Liberty - 14 years ago

Sarah Palin more of a populist than a conservative. She was first in line to get gov't handouts for her state, and the reason there's no state income tax in alaska is b/c there's a huge severance tax on oil. She's a shill who is trying now to align herself with "libertarian" republicans.
