Wow, I am surprised.. At the time I wrote this it was 42% Yes, 58% No. I thought there would be more active / sporty people out there.
I'm so glad I'm not the only nonsporty person out there. I'm really more of an indoor person.
How do we qualify being sporty or not? What are the qualifiers?
The only thing sporty about me is watching football.
I think most of the time tech and sport don't mix. I was sport before I was tech and I am mediocre at both.
Sportiness is all about the underwear. If you're a guy - boxer's or briefs (the type no matter - its all the total presentation). If you're a lady, and its a silk thong, you say it with a French accent: "Spor-TAY." Or you can say it with a Chinese accent, since silk is originally from China: "SPAH-tah!"
And it can change from day to day, too. Some days you're sporty, and other days your just, well, sort of naked. Judging from the survey response, I would say a larger portion of today's participants are wearing either plain white boxers or granny-panties. As for me, I'm wearing plain white boxers so I'm feeling kind of empty....then again....for all you know I could be a lady....and that would make me "sssss-pordee!" Happy blogging!
I'm not into sports because I think they take up to much of your average American's lifetime, but it's hard to miss football on sunday I will admit. Likewise i'm a firm believer in working out physically and cardiovascularly . For the last ten years I have done atleast an hour of cardio( ride bike, go for walk, snowboard, ice-skate) and an hour of physical muscle workout (stretching, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, benching, and curling) We must maintain our health in order to be around for the greatness that society will one day turn into.
On my own opinion, most of the sporty people like outdoor activities. They do not stay just indoors because what they care about more is keeping their body fit and satisfying the urge that every sporty person feels everyday. I, myself can testify this. I am a sporty person, and I know every player feels the passion towards sports. I am really not into sitting in front of a computer and doing just like what I am doing right now. It is just that I am on a trip right now and I do not have other options but to stay indoors and do things like these . On the other hand, most of the people who like to do some blogs and some sorts of stuffs, are more of a homebody people. Doesn't it make any sense? This is just my opinion, anyway.
I don't consider my self sporty, i like being in front of my computer for hours, but at anytime i would find myself walk (and sometimes run) the miles to take some photographs, and i would simply oblivious about it. there's this notion inside of me, which i know to be quite wrong, I tend to assume that sporty people are people who have enough luxury at their disposal to do physical activity as a focused activity in it self. (Athlete excluded)
I clean my rooms, I washed my own clothes by hand! sweep and mop the floor when I don't feel too lazy. I am not sporty, I am simply alive...
I just wanted to apologize for my somewhat childish answer earlier this afternoon. Just because you wear a thong doesn't mean you have to feel 'sporty.' A good thong can make you feel collegial, chummy, even regal/imperial. But I just found out: If you log out and back in to Wordpress, you can VOTE AGAIN! This concerns me. I believe that 'no' voters have been stacking this vote! I noticed at about 7:30 am that the 'no's' shot up suddenly right about the time government officials in Tehran get off work! (Banker's hours.) I think SOMEBODY over there kept voting repeatedly because they were in a p---y, 'non-sporty' mood. Probably b/c there's so much confusion on whether to ship nukies to Russia. Anyway, I have been re-voting since about 3 pm and d--- my wrist is tired. Carpal tunnel??? It WAS about 500 to 75. Anyway, back to work: 646, 647, 648

...OK, I am just NOT feeling the love with this survey! C'mon people! How can you blog on Wordpress and NOT feel sporty? All of the non-sporty bloggers are over AT Blogger. That's WHY we have Worpress! So there's a place for all the 'sporty' bloggers to go; and that means YOU!

Honestly, it's the perfect way for me to blow off some steam. You could consider the way i dress sporty,and even down to the way i think is rather sporty. I couldn't live without it. I would be a big ball of energy. I'm more centered because of sports. Oh, and it helps me to stay competitive in other ares of life too.

I concur. In addition to a serious bicycle and no driving license, a good thong may help; but the bicycle seat may become smelly, though. 1,603; 1,604; 1,605....
I sit in front of my computer all day, however I always push myself to use the treadmill machine at least 3 times a week, so I can consider myself 'sporty' :)
