pretty funny. as though any of you who are so "disappointed" that obama isn't going to berlin would actually pass up that opportunity to complain that obama is flying off to europe to hang out with his socialist pals rather than work on the issues here at home.

you people will use any opportunity to sling mud. give it a rest.

Obama is like a spoiled little bratty kid who's used to getting his way, and when he can't, he just takes his ball and goes home. This issue has roots in the campaign when the presumtuous 'candidate' Obama wanted to speak at the Brandenburg Gate, and was refused. This locale is reserved for heads of state, and men of accomplishment, which Obama is neither. So, now that he has the chance to speak there, he just takes his ball and goes home; which is just as well because Obama represents a mind set that would've seen the Berlin Wall standing for eternity.

Hey candy16...you infuriating dolt! How is it he can find time to go to Copenhagen for the olympics and even go to Berlin on his apology tour, dinner and a show in NYC but cannot be bothered to attend such an important event as the anniversary of the falling of the berlin wall and the cold war. Your youth and naiveté astound me! Perhaps you should google 'Berlin Wall' on your Sidekick and read something before posting your nonsense. This arrogant twit of a president does nothing but promote his own brand of socialism and cares for nothing but his overly stroked ego.

I find it very disappointing that Obama will not recognize this turning point in world and US history. For decades American foreign policy and resources were devoted for the day the wall came down. And our current President, who can find time to travel to Copenhagen to lobby to have the Olympics in Chicago, cannot find the time to represent the people who helped to make it possible.

As special as the fall of Berlin Was is in history, President Obama has his hands more than full right now. He simply cannot be and go every where for every reason.
He has the serious Ft. Hood matter on-going, with the Memorial services being held tomorrow (Tuesday, November 10th), he has the Asian trip, he is meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netaynahu tonight (Monday, November 9th), he has the Healthcare Bill, the jobs, financial, and economy issues to discuss and find solutions for the American citizens. The climate change and enviromental issues need to be discussed.
I am not disappointed that the President did not go to Berlin.
