When I saw this I was completely shocked. To me it felt like a gym full of high schoolers being repremanded by the principal (I've been in that situation so I know what I'm talking about although it had nothing to do with me). This just goes to show that TNA doesn't always know what the hell they are doing or at least don't put any deep thoughts into knowing what they are doing.
It was bloody stupid. Enough said.
EVERYTHING that is shown on television in the United States is produced. This segment was produced. If it was a serious meeting, they would have not shown it on television, and it certainly wouldn't have been produced to tv-friendly standards.
It held my attention. Yes, it was produced, but I think it was intended to get people talking about TNA really looking to amp up their game. It didn't feel contrived to me at all. It gave the feel of a "shoot" style look at the inner-workings of the company.
It was terrible. I certainly hope Dixie is more convincing acting as an actual authority figure than she is at acting as a TV one. Her performance was pathetic and trying to get her over as a credible on-air character would be near-impossible. She may not look half-bad, but hot women are a dime a dozen and as far I am concerned I just don't need to see or hear from Dixie Carter.
I thought that the segment was good.
I think putting it on TV was a terrible idea. I also think the things she said were very egotistical and ignorant. Saying that anyone who questions her decisions needs to find somewhere else to work is hilariously idiotic. Thats how progress is made and lessons are learned and disasters avoided. "Hey Dixie, your idea of putting all the male wrestlers in the same style pink unitard is a bad idea", guess that'll get you fired cause Dixie knows best on all matters...she is knowledgeable beyond questioning. Stupid bitch.
You're unquestionably right, Eric. Because that's such a realistic example, after all.
i liked it i thought it was great. thats all i gotta say about it
i think it was stupid to put it on tv cuz it makes it look like noone wants hogan there. i think they need to keep the politics of the screen
I can't say it was a bad thing, if it wasn't a work as is being noted. Then the fans got to see inside the company, if it was a work then the fans got to see a fake company speech. So it took a few minutes off the screen, but in the end the matches that followed seemed to look better.
Ridiculous. That bimbo belongs in a skimpy outfit escorting somebody to ringside, not pretending that she can run a wrestling company while throwing away her Daddy's money. Ignorant slut.
these idiots who think they are wwe share holders should shut their mouth ...tna is getting better
Yes TNA is getting "better". That doesn't mean that segment wasn't fucking retarded and that Dixie Carter isn't a moron.
My thoughts on the concept was that that we saw a good concept we saw everyone in TNA together for a major moment in their growing history. Hogan signing means they made TNA a major promotion and everyone got to see why they are together. I didn't see that they didn't want him there I saw unity.
