CONGRESSMAN McMAHON IS VOTING IN FAVOR OF WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT. HE'S DOING THE RIGHT THING. HE WORKS FOR US AND I LIKE HIM. HE'S AN HONEST MAN AND WILL REPRESENT US WELL , TRUST HIM. STATEN ISLANDERS ARE VERY INMATURE WHEN THEY DON'T GET EVERYTHING THEY WANT. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO GROW UP. THANK YOU.

Let me be the first to say here that I PRAISE Congressman McMahon for voting NO!!! Healthcare is in need of reform. Absolutely! BUT Not not the bill-this bill- in its current form. Congressman McMahon is correct in stating the NEGATIVES outweigh the positives. (He said at the Town Hall meeting he would weigh the positives and negatives and vote the way the it most benefits Staten Island and Brooklyn) The biggest Negative in my view is having MY/our Tax dollars FUND Killing Babies. And by Voting no today for this bill in its current form, Mr. McMahon, has found a new friend in those who protect and defend life. If he continues voting this way-HAS MY VOTE for RE-ELECTION. Thank you Congressman and GOD BLESS YOU for Standing up and DEFENDING LIFE-SPECIFICALLY THE UNBORN!

He thinks Republicans are going to reelect him next year? He'll be lucky to win the Democratic primary because of this vote. Call his Washington DC office and let him know he is making a mistake. Why are all the civil servants on Staten Island so easily fooled by the health insurance companies and their cronies in Congress? They must be watching too much Fox News.

Mike is making a mistake. If he thinks that going with the opposition will save his seat, he is wrong. Democrats put him in office, and Democrats can keep him there...Staten Island Republicans will not vote for him when the time comes...

mcMahon just lost 2 votes here..
Hope he will be defeated by a better Democrate in 2010 who does not swing by the wind and responds to democratic principle and not to fear
