Given that the earth is always either warming or cooling, I'd much prefer the former over the latter, but until humans learn to control the sun they will not have any significant say over the matter.
The global warming scare is a thinly veiled attempt by environmental extremists to attack capitalism and fill their pockets with research grants and other government subsidies based on unproven theories and "models". The sun and the earth are far too complex and variable to accurately predict weather next week, let alone long term climate change.
