The Problem is that exisiting laws are not enforced.
I worked at Roxbury District Court and not once during that period was Bartley/Fox utilized.

I think the Mass gun laws should be less focused on people who have gun licenses and more on people who don't. People who obtain licenses have to take a test, get themselves registered and if the purchase a gun, that too has to be registered. Take the gun out of the hands of the unregistered and unlicensed.

Wini's got it right, I think. People who obey the law and take training, a test and register are not the ones we need to fear. Think of all the terrible times in our nation when the presence of a trained registered gun owner might have saved lives.

Requiring guns to be locked in the home is insane. If an incident happens I have to unlock the gun cabinet before I can defend myself? My gun is on my night table in case I need it. Will I need it? Read the newspaper.

Why is it that we have our second ammendment rights tested all the time. If the justice system would do there job and put these people in jail who do not have a firearms license we would not have any problems.
