I would rather see to have only browsing device, as all solutions are available on browsers like e-mail, sms, voice and video conference.

No, I´ve a data plan with Vodafone Spain for 9 € plus a voice plan of 9 € too.

I use an Iphone full of apps just for 18€ / month.

Even with a lower price I would prefer to have only one device on my pocket.

I would rather see the following:

Sim-only (as proper phones are easy enough to come by these days) with a data-only commitment of 20 to 25 euro a month for unlimited mail, browsing and other mobile internet applications on a decent 3.5G connection in all of Europe, North America and possibly also Japan.
This would be the ideal solution for us who use our phones more as mobile internet devices than to actually call or send sms (text messages).

I think the people that want to pay that amount just for emails will very few...
I live in London and with my iphone I've free internet connection in UK. When I'm abroad, and there are no wireless, I connect the iphone in roaming, paying not an incredible amount of money...
