As a long time Arlington resident, and as a union officer, I am angry that the school committee continues to waste money that can be spent on our children. You all made a serious mistake when you allowed the Superintendent to terminate these employees. You made your mistake worse by letting information make it onto the front page of the Advocate, and you will now waste even more money on appealing a decision just because you lost! How many more thousands are you willing to waste? Grow up, own up to your mistake, and put this ugly chapter of Arlington history behind us.
I invite my old friend, Celia, to take another look at the report about the decision to appeal, either at YourArlington or in The Advocate. The decision is related to insurance issues, and the parties have been urged to settle.

Bob, why in the world would the party that just won have any interest in settling, unless of course Arlington is ready to admit their errors and pay millions to apologize for all their mistakes? Arlington can do anything they want, it doesn't matter what they do, because they are going to lose big. You should also be concerned since you posted false information in your blog.
Eric,
I manage a Web site that includes a blog. I wrote numerous stories on the Web site about these case. I have written one blog entry about it. Please let me know what "false information" you are referring to. Thanks.
