The well-informed know that Obama will increase taxes on the wealthy 1% and not the middle class. The Republicans have caused increases on the middle class and lower income wage earners by forcing higher state and property taxes due to tax cuts for the wealthy. Federal funds to the state which have been cut are now picked up by the lower wage earners through state and local taxes. I pay more for property taxes on my mobile home than my boss pays on property taxes for the building she conducts business out of (which is worth at least 4 times the value of my home).

Every politician has studied history and knows the story of LBJ. Came to power presiding over an unpopular war, enacted a radical social program (The War On Poverty), signed Civil Rights Bill (thanks to help from Repubs and opposition from most Dems), lost his early appeal and was challenged for nomination by a resigned member of his Cabinet, Robert Kennedy. I've heard from 2 people already who have had their home values increased so far this year.

Some of the problems are with business's not doing well. We were a small business and obama's implementations would have killed us.

THose who PAY the most taxes should get the most back. I doubt very much your paying much in federal taxes. Fight with your state if you state taxes are too high.

Obama's hc plan is only a govt controlled, population controlled hc plan!! Not good for us, no way, no how!!! There should be a bi-partisan group who will

I am the bookkeeper where I work, so I do know that the bills being passed so far have only helped small business in this area. It is the large corporations and over-priced CEOs that need to worry.

Here in my state, the more expensive houses (valued between $75,000 and $500,000 have had an extra $25,000 exemption applied to them, so the more affluent get a bigger tax break. My property, which is not valued at the higher amount has actually gone up in taxes. This is the logic of the Republicans in control of our state legislature.

I do the book keeping for a 40+ employee business and Obama has done nothing to hurt this enterprise. All they (the nay-sayers) can use as arguments are their fear of abortions and illegal immigrants. They already know they pay less taxes.

You have obviously never been a small business owner. Almost all of the jobs OBAMA HAS LOST FOR AMERICA, came from small business.

The very, very, very, few jobs Obama lies about having saved or created are not jobs at all, they are just more Tax payer money being given out to people to sweep side walks for the government. They are just WELFARE.

If people were to actually do some reading, and I won't mention whom, they would find as the person above noted that most are govt. jobs and most are temporary.

IF they are govt., its just another lie that obama feeds those who follow him that jobs are being created. Ask yourself why thousands of new govt. jobs overloading an already overloaded system will help the "tax payer". Sure, the person who has the job, but who do you think are paying for the govt. paychecks.

In the private sector, its different and jobs are NOT being created.

If you will read my posts again, I never said he created any jobs here, just that his policies have done nothing but benefit my co-workers so far. As for me, my taxes are lower, too, and I owe about $400 less than last year in Federal taxes, but my property and other state taxes have gone up steadily for years.
