Who is the most significant college assistant coach in Florida history?

Mickey Andrews (Was at FSU for 26 years and helped win two national titles. Too bad Mickey never got his chance to be a big-time head coach.)

Bob Stoops (When he arrived, he gave Florida a tough-minded defensive presence that helped Gators win a school-first national title. Has gone on to become one of best head coaches in the sport.)

Art Kehoe (Was at Miami for 25 years, took part in all five of UM's national championships and coached some of the greatest offensive lines in college football history.)

Gene Chizik (Former UCF defensive coordinator went on to bigger jobs, where he helped Auburn finish unbeaten in 2004 and Texas win a national title in 2005. Now the head coach at Auburn.)

Charlie Strong (Has been integral part of two national titles at Florida and possibly a third this year. The age-old question remains: Why hasn't he been hired as a head coach yet?)

Mark Richt (Is it just coincidence that FSU's offense hasn't been the same since Richt left to become head coach at Georgia in 2000? We think not.)
