We go to 10 am b/c it is really hard to make it to the earliest 8:30 when the kids wake up at 8!
Our parish has just one 10:30 a.m. Sunday Divine Liturgy available. I'd prefer an earlier DL, but our priest travels from PA every Sunday to get to our WV parish.
Our Mass is actually at 11:00....close to Noon, so that was my choice. We LOVE having it at that time--plenty of time to get up, eat breakfast together with a good length of time between meal and Mass, and leave in time to get our older son there to serve (which he does every week). We live 30 minutes from our church, so we leave an hour ahead to give us enough time to settle ourselves before Mass begins.
We go to 7:30 AM Mass. My oldest son is an altar server and this is the Mass at which he serves. We also attend 9:30 AM at which I serve as a Children's Liturgist.
We live in a small town, we have one Mass at 10 am. I prefer earlier and occasionally make it to another small town with an 8 am Mass. The truth is when you have seven kids you know they behave better at mass when they are comatose. Mostly though we just go to church at our 10 am Mass as it is hard to argue travel time when you live next door, you know?
