Yes please keyboard. It is just quicker and easier for me. But I think it is just personal preference.
Hmm... I was a Psion man so a keyboard has always been something I wanted. Then I had an MDA Vario - the keyboard was great but the phone was THICK. Now I accept that I want a thinner phone and, for keyboard-requiring tasks, use my netbook. I've just got an iPod Touch and am getting the feel for the on-screen keyboard, to see if this is the way forward. I'm seriously thinking of an N97 Mini if the keyboard doesn't add too much bulk.
I've had a phone with a pull-out keyboard for almost two years and I"ve used the keyboard twice. My next phone will not have one. I don't message. For me, the keyboard just adds weight and bulk.
