We just received notice that our healthcare WILL increase the first of the year..BEFORE Obamacare...that includes increased deduction...ours now is $2500...per person...I could not read the entire letter we got...I got depressed.

The company I work for allows us to convert unused sick leave into a dollar amount to pay for insurance. The proposals say that if you're happy with the insurance you have, you can keep it. Therefore, my insurance won't change unless I want it to.

Nothing Obama has worked on, is working on, or will work on in the future will save any working person any money. Everything Obama does is to redistribute working people's money to Non-working parasitic people.

He cares not for anyone except those leaches he can buy votes from, for himself, with your money.

In Answer to your Post, I say: REALLY? What if your Company decides to forgo providing their Employees Insurance? Oh, now they will pay a fine under current proposals, but that fine is NO WHERE Near as much COST to them as providing all their employees with some really Good Insurance. So,...What happens if they simply pay the governments fine? The government makes lots of extra cash, (the fine) and then what happens to all the employees? They will apply for the Governments Plan, again the government makes money from all those employees. Take a guess how many companies facing much higher taxes for energy, increased labor costs and the threat of inflation hanging over all of America as our dollar is being de-valued. Now,..If you are a LOW income worker or have never worked, or are an illegal immigrant, they give you a credit, or you get it free if you fall under a certain income level. But,..if this is not the case, and your company simply chooses to save money by dropping your Cadillac Insurance plan, because they DO understand even if you do not, that the government will tax them on your plan, big-time,..WHY? They MUST pay for FREE Obama-health care for illegal immigrants, lay-a bouts and the ultra-low income earners. Now in that case, you are without a plan, what do you do? Join the Public Option, just as they had planned,..and the premiums will come right outta your pocket, the government will again,..make more money, and you pay, and pay, and pay again. When your boss finds he can pay an 8% tax and not provide you with insurance you will have no choice except to go with the Public Option...or pay out of pocket. The classic example of the obama follower. DUMB & DUMBER

First, companies will drop their insurances like hot coals, so NO you will not "get to keep your doctor/insurance." But keep believing that, if it keeps you "believing" in the Promises. My company has changed insurance providers 3 times in 2 1/2 years, each becoming worse with more restrictions (oops, that should be "healthy-living incentives"). Second, the penalty for not taking insurance will come straight out of your paycheck (along with the increased penalties called taxes for working at all) or out of your income tax "refund," so there's no escaping the Hand of Obama. Third, Obama has made crystal clear his attitude toward elders. The reductions in healthcare may or may not be gradual, but the result will be the same. And his Legacy will be massive savings in healthcare costs, and "improved health" in elders -- a much smaller population of elders, with the sick removed from the equation.

Just remember, it's all for our own good...
